What should I upgrade to?

I am booked to visit next month, and have been praying to Walt Disney himself for there to be an offer as I have been starting to regret booking into Cheyenne. My prayers appear to have been answered, but now I can't decide what to upgrade to.....please let me know what you would do, particularly anyone who has stayed recently as my judgements are based on my last trips 3 and 4 years ago!

Basically, I will appreciate the larger rooms (2 year old has become a real mountaineer recently so I don't think bunk beds are a good idea), and think we will really make use of a pool, and a better breakfast - any other advantages I am missing?

To upgrade to SL (standard room) would cost me £100, and the website appears to be offering me a Golden Forest room for £352, is this the room with the extras or am I confused? (and what are the extras - would we appreciate them with a 2 year old? are they worth £250 more than a standard room in SL or £100 more than HNY)

I have stayed in SL before, but my memories of the pool are putting me off, as I remember it, it was constantly overcrowded and not that child friendly (but I didn't have a child then so didn't specifically look for a children's area).

To upgrade to HNY (standard room) would cost £240. As this is closer, is it noisier in terms of people passing (would opt for a non lake facing room). Is the pool less crowded than SL or are they all roughly the same? Looking at photos I feel like SL is more of a 'splash about' pool and HNY more 'swimming' - am I wrong?

Thankyou so much in advance, I am not a decision maker!!!
