What should i see?

I'm going to seaworld for the first time this summer. I'll only be there for a day or two. What stuff should i see and what stuff should i skip?

Be sure to feed the dolphins and the seals. (take extra $$ for this--it's well worth every penny) You can feed the stingrays too, but it's down for rehab right now. Feeding the little sharks is not as fun, we did it once or twice but just skip it now.

See Blue Horizons and the Shamu show. I have heard Mystify is great too but I have not seen it myself.

Walk under/through the shark tank.

The Arctic experience and the penguins are a favorite of ours.

We also really love the Pets Ahoy show. It is amazing what these animals can do!! This is really a hidden gem. If you are an animal lover this is a must see. (this is a show with domestic animals, not sea creatures)

I like to check out the dolphin nursery to see who is new and how the babies have grown since our last trip.

If you like horses, go into the barn to see the Clydesdales. You can get your picture taken with one and if you do that they give you a chance to get up close to one and pet it, so that is nice. You are not obligated to buy the pic, but pose for it anyway just to get up close and personal with these beautiful horses.

We pretty much skip the rides at SW and just enjoy the animals that we don't get a chance to see at home, so I can't tell you about the rides.

We loved the rides! We also loved Pets Ahoy, so much so that we saw it twice. I would not miss Clyde and Seymore, it's a cute and funny show. The penguins are really fun to watch. That's a great place to go if it's hot. You really cool off in there. In two days you will be able to see everything and go back and visit your favorites.

We paid the go up in the thing that spins around, it was pretty lame. You get a 360 degree view of the park. I had motion sickness after that and it didn't even move fast or anything.

I was not impressed with the underwater shark encounter.

We were very bummed that the dolphin show was not open when we were there. I bet that is great.

That Tower ($3) is a nice slow ride with a great view of the metro Orlando area (motion sickness notwithstanding). Other things (beyond what others have already mentioned) I'd do are to stop by and see the small pond just beyond the stroller rentals (unusual birds), the flamingos, Turtle Point (sea turtles and pelicans), the aligators, Manatees, Jewels of the Sea Aquarium (next to Journey to Atlantis), feed the seals and sea lions at Pacific Point, and beer tasting (A/B Hospitality Deli). There's really a surprising number of things to do and see at SW.
