I am leaving in 9 days!!! We won't pack our clothes until next weekend but I want to start assembling the other necessities. I know to bring sunscreen and a first aid kid, but can I get some recommendations based on experience of other things to bring?

Make sure you have your Passporter or other book you are using packed, batteries and film for your camera

Disposable cameras for the kids, journals for kids (and you - we want that trip report :teeth: ), clothes washing stuff (I take "travel wash" for emergency washing only, but you could stick a couple of sheets of fabric conditioner and a couple of tablets in a ziplock if you think you'll do some washing), Gameboys + chargers and games (or similar), moleskin

We used Bodyglide this trip and it worked great. It is a solid stick (like deodorant) and it not only seemed to prevent blisters on feet but was also very helpful when shorts started to rub.
I got it at REI but I expect any biking/hiking store would have it.

As we went in Aug I was concerned about hydration so we brought powdered drink mixes. Just dumped them in the water bottles when we filled up at the water fountains and the kids were a lot happier than with plain water.

Have a great trip.

I pack rain ponchos--I figure if I have them , I won't need them! Plus buying them at WDW is expensive, and they're flimsy. Altho, I read if they rip you can exchange them for a new one. I make sure the kids' sunglasses have those holders so they can take them off and have them hang around their necks.

I bring the tiny bottles of hand sanitizer--I figure it's better than nothing when we stop for ice cream or snacks.

We have 3 DSs, so we bring the walkabouts so we can split up and find each other.

I also bring along children's tylenol/motrin and cough/cold medicine. The dissolving tablets don't take up much space, and we've needed them on vacation before. I know you can get some of this onsite, but when your kid wakes up in the middle of the night with a fever, you want something on hand.
