What should I know?

I am going on my first cruise 5/12 with my two kids ages 18 m and 8 yrs- I waited too long to register for the dolphin encounter and I'm bummed. I reserved some goodies at Castaway Cay, but what else should I now so that we don't miss out?

I hate not having a clue, and I would to get there and wish I had known something...

Welcome to DIS! The best advice is for you to just read every post on this board and read the trip reports. There is so much to know...yet nothing you HAVE to know.
Have you seen the "Magical Cruise Document"? It's (I don't know) 60 pages long or so, but has most every answer you might need.

Hope this helps...btw, I have yet to cruise, but I feel like I have from reading about everyone elses experiences.
