What should I do?!?

Hi all,

I just got my Magical Express Documents in the mail today ( ) but included was only one voucher for a pin and pin lanyard. My dad and I are both avid pin collectors so if only one of the three of us gets a lanyard someone will be feeling bad. I read every word on the certificate and it says nothing about 1 pin and lanyard per certificate or anything about how may people I had in my party. The only thing I could find was in the bottom right corner was the letter D. Any clue as to what that means? Does this cover all three of us or just one of us? I suppose we could buy another 1 or 2 lanyards if necessary but the pin is only avaliable with the certificate.

They send one pin/lanyard per package. If you are all on the same package/reservation, you'll have to fight over it.

You could always get the pin and lanyard and give it to a child that obviously doesn't have any pins with a little note explaining how pin trading works.

And, you do only get one

I bet you will be able to buy some lanyards (unless they are special....mine is pink and won't give it up!) and find the pins for trading in the park....at least I hope you can....no...happy thoughts...I am sure you will be able to trade.

If that doesn't work...burst into tears.....my Mom almost did when I was trading a Dumbo pin in Epcot....poor guy just gave me the pin and said to give my Dumbo to Mom!

We just got back, and what we got is a plain black lanyard and a pin of a Magical Express bus. I suspect that cast members will have lots of these pins that you can trade for if you want everyone to have one.

Hope it isn't a no-no to tell you this...

Maybe when you check in you could ask...

This past April when we were at POP we did not get any lanyards/pins with our package but we saw someone in the food court who had a set & he said it came with his package. Well, my mom went over to the info. desk & asked if my 2 kids could have lanyards/pins & the cast member at the counter gave her a coupon redeemable at the POP gift shop for 2 lanyards & pins. We were given a set of 2 black lanyards with pins.

I guess it's one per ROOM- not per package. Everytime we've gotten the package we've only received a certificate for one lanyard/pin. Even if you're a family of 4- one lanyard/pin. I really think it's one per room (booked with a package/packages), not one per package.

We just got our documents on Saturday (YEAH) and I agree, it is only one pin and lanyard per room. Perhaps you and your Dad can agree on who gets this one. There certainly are opportunities to buy and trade pins while you are there. Now that you know you can avoid disappointment and figure out the best way to deal with it. After all, You will be IN Disney!!!!

You get 1 free pin trading set [lanyard and I believe 3 pins] per room for resort packages.

You get 1 lanyard with 1 DME pin per DME package. I think a DME package is a max of 4 people so if you have more then 4 you will get more then 1 package so you will also get more then 1 pin & lanyard set.

Now I am confused If I am reading this right is this supposedly what we will get? We have 3 adults in 1 room at the All Star Music and the Magical Express is in our package soooo... will we get 1 lanyard and 3 pins for the resort part AND 1 lanyard and 1 pin for the DME? If so that would solve the problem, I get one, dad gets the other and we trade so each of us gets both "free" pins. Could it be?
