What should I do next?

Hi everyone!

DH and I were last at WDW for our honeymoon in 2000 (stayed at WL) and we have finally managed to book our next trip!!! We have been to WDW and DLP quite a few times but 1st trip for children.

We are now a family of 4 (kids will be 10.5 and 6 when we arrive) and we are coming all the way from Scotland.

I have booked WL woods view bunk bed room, have 14 day park tickets (deal was 14 for price of 7) and deluxe dining plan (DD6 has multiple allergies but I think I've got that organised) and even got a free $200 gift card as part of the package!

Arriving 10/10/15 for 2 weeks! (Not telling children until the airport!)

I've signed up for MDE and linked our hotel reservation and picked the colours of the magic bands but what next???

With the deluxe DP for two weeks you're going to have a lot of ADRs to make. It's never too early to start researching restaurants and planning where you want to go which day. Your 180 day ADR window will come faster than you think! Have fun It sounds like a great trip

We arrive at WDW on 10/10/15 and are staying at WL. How does the 180+10 thing work? Ie when do I start trying to make reservations? Can I only make then for the first 10 days?

You'll be able to make ressies at 180 days from your arrival date so 4/13/2015 I think The window will be for the first 10 days of your trip. I'm not sure if you wait 10 days until you make the last 4 of your trip or when those days open up We've never stayed that long! Online ADRs open at 6am EST and the phones open at 7am EST. I would check the dining reservations boards here to find out more info about the 14 days and what time your windows open. I'm on the East coast of the US so the system is on my time zone

Hi can I ask how you linked your reservation number with MDE as the reservation I've got through Thomas Cook doesn't work and would love to be able to do the Same as you. We are a family of 4 2 ad 2 ch (12) (8) travelling 26/7/15.

I asked my travel agent for the alphanumeric reference code and typed it into the app. Hope that helps???

A good tip is I used a calender calculater to subtract 180 days from next Disney trip. That way when they unlock the 180 day before your arrival I would start doing reservations. Meantime look around for some yummy places to eat while your here. Make a list than when the 180 day mark comes make the reservation before the all the ressies are booked. Hope this tip helps.

. Thanks for this. We have a multiple allergic daughter so food choices ALL have to be planned! For the last 4/14 days (those not covered by the 180+10) do I need to call each day to reserve??
