Hi all,

Okay, first ever visit to WDW and now 38 days to go, booked 14 months ago. This is now getting real and v. exciting.

Just wondering what you guys and girls think I should be doing with about five weeks to go.

We've done a rought itinerary, bought clothes etc, booked a PS, got some dollars.

Any ideas to keep me busy and as excited as poss for five weeks?

Oh, thats EASY....start planning the NEXT ONE :teeth: .

But seriously....do you know what parks are busy on what days? Its useful to have this list, as it can make a big difference to the crowds at the parks.

Get your passports out, check they are all in date and that none are lost. With 5 weeks to go, its still possible to get a replacement passport if the unthinkable happened, and you have misplaced one!

If you have your tickets, check everyones name is spelt right!

Finalise your Priority Seatings. Dont forget a PS isnt a firm booking...you can cancel without penalty at anytime (except CRT and Fantasmic Dinner Package), so it doesnt hurt to make a few extras for places you fancy trying.

If any of you take medication, arrange a repeat prescription early, so you have supplies to ready to take.

Take your guidebooks to bed each night and make sure you memorise every page....;) .

Have a great trip!

i go about a week after you. i dont think i could have stood the tension if i had booked 14 months in advance. its mounting as we speak. i think (hope) im pretty much organised but no doubt there will be a few things to do before we go. if you want to do something why dont you pamper yourself. get a few hair treatments done have a couple of goes on the sunbed and have a good relax. get your body and mind ready for your vacation. oh and im thinking of doing a detox before i go as it seems (from what i have read on these boards and what my dh has told me) im going to be eating lots of junk. i always feel bad if i o.d on junk. our last hol i booked 4 days before hand and it was so easy. 'booked it, packed it, f***** off' so to speak.

love

Whilst checking passports & tickets , photocopy them & pack the copies separately.

Have you got all your toiletries & suncream .?

Can't think of anything else at the moment.

Hi again,

I went on a diet (you know how much junk food you're going to eat don't you?)
I also went crazy on the boards getting advice and reading the tips for thedibb & the others, also looking through the galleries.
Photocopy the tickets in case you lose them as above.
Have you booked seats for your flight on-line with VA?
Can't think of anything else at the mo!
:wave2:

Hi ya!

My advice would be to start a walking routine, as you walk miles once you get to disney. I went last year and even though I had breakfast & evening meals - plus snacks throughout the day, I walked a lot and still managed to lose 8lb in weight.

Remember to drink a plenty of water.
