What should be the next Kevin and John dining review?

As I said - Torture. :moped:
I've got to admit, I thought it would have been when I tried it last year. I loved it. I think most of the add on events and firework parties you pay extra are rubbish. This however, for me, was awesome. It is fun with the character interaction, awesome 70's and 80's Star Wars featured videos which are more tongue in cheek than serious and the food was great. I mean, it was really great food. Most meals are blah at those things and I didn't feel this was not worth the $ I paid.

I am however interested to see what Kevin and John think. My wife who kinda hates Star Wars actually enjoyed it because of the interaction and the food didn't disappoint. I think it's one of the better things Disney does right now in character meals.

Kevin please please do Hollywood and Vine!

Ps I'm shocked you guys don't own a jacket with as many cruises and events you attend - I love getting dressed up and fancy :)

Didn't they do Hollywood and Vine? They saw a rat and said they would never return... or was that Pete?

John and I do not own a jacket and refuse to buy one just to go to dinner.

And yes....I know they will let us borrow one.

I don't want to borrow a strangers clothes in order to dine anywhere.

Simple as that.

Not that this will change your mind, nor am I trying to, but the first time we dined there a friend had to borrow a jacket as he did not bring one. They're very nice and you don't feel like you're wearing someone else's old dusty, smelly clothes. Clearly, as we're talking about an extremely nice restaurant. The food is just so incredible, and the experience alone is awesome. We've eaten in all Three Dining Rooms including the Chef's Table. I find my taste to my similar to yours and John's based off of what I know. I think the two of you would love it :). I'm sure you've heard all this before, but maybe one day you'll find yourselves in the right circumstance to try it. Anyways, back to your regularly scheduled programming!

I had marathon of Kevin dining reviews I'm pretty sure I didn't see Hollywood and Vine as I was going there for Jedi Mickey diner and wanted some inside info

Aren't the kitchens of H&V and another restaurant attached and share a bathroom?
I feel like either JL or Teresa was telling a story that their daughter went to the bathroom and came out the other side and was lost?
Perhaps they reviewed the other restaurant?

I love that i still have the ability to shock.
You used the word zeitgeist on the podcast this week. I don't think I can be shocked any more than that

I still wish I had won that Elsa signed doll...

I admit that when I saw this thread, this thought came to my head. Whatever they want. Kevin and John could review a McDonalds and I would find it enjoyable
I think they should review each other eating Hot Pockets or Pizza Rolls...

Is there a master list of recorded reviews anywhere?

I would probably listen to. I once collapsed in convulsive laughter after John described what a pear desert looked like at Cinderella's Royal Table. Seriously a Co-worker came over and asked if I was okay.

The Be Our Guest episode is a good one. I believe most of the team went. They tried just about everything. It was a great review. I Think that would be a good one to review to see if the quality of food is still the same after a few years.

I vote for The Boathouse. We just ate there over Mother's Day weekend and the experience was great. The atmosphere and theming of the restaurant, coupled with the level of service and the food quality was some of the best we have had on Disney property (WDW property).
