Since I can't stuff my guidebook in there, what should I put?

I have: my itinerary, PS conf. #'s, hotel conf./plane conf., guidebook info, park maps, MYW Dining Restaurants, DME stuff, hotel maps (staying at POFQ), and menus to PO restaurants. What else? Rides we want to catch?

Sorry if I copy:cat:ed! TIA!

I always note rides we want to go one so we don't miss someone's favorite, shows we want to see (and the times of the shows) so we don't miss someone's favorite, park times and the names of some counter service places where we can all eat so we aren't wandering the park lost for non PS meals. (DH is a picky eater and there are certain things that I can't eat)

For me it depends on who is going with us. Before when my youngest DD wasn't tall enough for some rides, I had the height requirements so that she would know ahead of time. On another visit my parents were with us and my mom had a kidney infection and was drinking gallons of water. I had every bathroom location in each park listed so that we would not have to bother with the map!

I would make a page a day daily budget so you know how much money/credit cards/coupons, etc to bring out with you each day. It is also just good planning to know what your daily budget is. You can also make a budgeted column and then an actual column on your sheet so you will be able to plan realistically for your next trip.

here are some items to make sure you have considered.

Transportation
  • Airfare
  • Car Service
  • Tip for Car Service Driver
  • Rental Car
  • Car Valet Tips @ Hotel
  • Parking @ Parks
  • Parking @ Hotel
  • Gas
Lodging
  • Hotel (don't forget tax)
  • Bellman Tips
  • Housekeeping Tips
Food & Drink (don't forget tax & tip)
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Snacks
  • Groceries
Park Admission
  • Disney
  • Water Park
  • Sea World
  • USO/IOA
Souvenirs
  • Disney
  • Sea World
  • USO/IOA
Miscellaneous
  • Film & Development
  • Water Craft Rentals
  • Goofy Golf
  • Ride Pictures

Besides what you mentioned, I also put the phone numbers for the closest pharmacy and the doctors who will make house calls to a WDW resort, I put the phone numbers for both the airports I am flying out of and into, I put the phone numbers for our car service, plus several others in case of a problem. I put the number for rental car agencys, the number for taxi services and the website for my airline. I put photocopys of all the tickets we have (like La Cirque and MVMCP) plus photocopys of our insurance cards. I put copys of the hours for all the parks while we will be there. I have also heard of people bringing along confirmation that they paid for their package (ie cancelled checks or credit card bills)
I put it all in a three ring binder and throw it in my carry on.

Thanks to all for responding...you all are so helpful. I'm ready to go now!!
