What Shampoo/Conditioner Do You Use?

How can you tell by looking at the ingredients if shampoo is sulfate free? I know they can put it on the label but I want to know what to look for.

2 words- SULFATE FREE!! I tried it and will never use anything else. I didn't think it would be any different than anything else, but it is amazing! My hair has never felt healthier and it's not as frizzy. I use to have to straighten it everyday but I don't need to anymore. And I get it at Wal-Mart!! It's Loreal- not sure if that's spelled right. You should really try it my mom and girfriend are hooked now to and can't believe how awesome it is. Good Luck.

So that only lasted a couple weeks and I very happily went back to my shampoo-with-sulfates in it.

ETA: I have stick-straight, thick shiny hair.

Try another brand if you use hair color. I've used various sulfate-free shampoos and they lather quite well.

After what that failed recommendation cost me, I'm not willing to try it again.

I'll stick with what I know works.

I've been using this for years. Very good stuff but EXTREMELY expensive. Fortunately, my cousin is a stylist and she orders it at 50% discount for. I don't think I could pay full price for it. But it's lovely.

I also get it at 50% off since my friend sells it to me at cost. I thought it was a new brand, I had never heard of it. I also saw it on ebay for half off.

I'm a hairstylist... i hear many people like dove, so whatever works for them!
I'm currently obsessed (and have been for 5 years) with Biolage Ultra Hydrating. They revamped their line and i've never found anything more hydrating for my locks! love it!

I've been using this daily for 15 years and love it!! Worth every penny. And a tube of conditioner lasts for ages.

I have dry, color treated hair and I've also done the keratin smoothing treatment, so I alternate between the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi and Wild Ginger line (moisturizing and sulfate free) and the Coppola shampoo/conditioner for keratin treated hair.

i use Alterna Bambo Smoothing Anti-Frizz. it is sulphate-free. I have chin-length layered, wavy hair that i straighten daily. DD has very thick, wavy hair and i used it on her last time. it was the first time she woke up the next day without the back of her head looking like a rat's nest.
