Hey all, I was wondering what role makes the most money per hour. Anyone know?? THANKS:cool1:

when I was on the program back in 2007 the only role that had a higher pay rate was QSFB. i'm not sure if that is the only role that still pays premium wages ($8.39) as opposed to the standard rate ($7.25).

1) Full Service Food & Beverage (base pay + substantial tips)
2) BBB Hostess (base pay + tip share)
3) Quick Service Food & Beverage or Lifeguard

Wow! A lot has changed in just 2 yrs! When I did BBB it was a tipped position, obviously there was too many problems with that, and now they've taken that away which would explain why nobody I know works there anymore.

Same for Full Service Food and Beverage, that used to be a tipped position as you were a waiter, not a counter server.

The FSFB positions that are available to CP/CS cast members seem to have changed. It looks like you can no longer be a waiter. You can only take greeter, busboy, dishwasher type positions now as I understand it.

Based on what I understand, they changed it after the last STCU Contract Negotiations. This way, STCU CR and FTs don't have to worry about CPs taking their hours (and corresponding Tips).

CPs in Table Service aren't being utilized primarily in Dishwashing positions. That's considered part of HOH/Culinary, and is staffed seperately. From my experience, they're all mostly utilized in Seater/Podium and other FOH Non-Tipped positions.

So those roles pay more than character performer, even?

How much does QSFB actually make?

BBB IS a tipped role. Is it paid as a non-tipped roles, but tips ARE made and it is allowed (which makes it the highest paid role after tips). It depends on which location you are stationed at, but my friends at the Castle one (which is the busier one) take home easily $80 a week.

Character Performers and BBB make the same (base pay). Both have opportunities for higher pay (tips at BBB, face roles as a CP).

Thanks for the clarification. I thought that was REAL WEIRD! I knew there were some in-house kinks they were working out before my program ended, but didn't seem like enough drama to completely ditch it altogether. I'd also not heard anything about the tips ending from other cast members that I know still work there.

I'd say that $60/wk was my take home from tip share, but that was when the boutique first opened (and they started allowing tips period), so a lot of people didn't know to tip at all.

I knew a kid from France who worked as a waiter at the freakin' Bistro de Paris...brought in hundreds per night in tips. Talk about jealousy...:sad1:
