Yikes......I am planning a trip to DL in only 2 months time. My WDW trips took a year of planning. I am soooooo happy to be planning, though. Last trip to WDW was 2001. Since then, I have graduated from nursing school, fell into taking care of crazy middle schoolers as a school nurse, and finally had a second baby (big sis is 10).

Never even been to California, hotel is booked, airline reservations made. We will be in Anaheim 7 nights. Half at DL and half sight seeing the area.

Last trip to WDW was all about the princesses. Now, my older daughter is into High School Musical and Hannah Montana and does not like thrill rides (princesses are now a big no-no). My baby will be 8 months old.

What rides at DL and CA could we actually ride all together????

We took our 11 month old to DL. Some of the rides she enjoyed (and she was laughing!) were:
- Dumbo
- Carousel
- Tea Cups
- Astro Orbiters
- Pirates
- Autopia
- Small World
- Bug's Land Rides at DCA
- Monsters Inc
Hope that helps,
Mel

Definitely try:
Jungle Cruise
Winnie the Pooh
Peter Pan
King Arthur's Carousel
Dumbo
Casey Jr. Circus Train
Storybookland Canal Boats
Alice in Wonderland
It's a Small World
Autopia
Buzz
And at DCA:
Monster's Inc.
Turtle Talk in the Animation Building
All Bugs Land rides except the 3D movie (it's a little intense)
King Triton's Carousel

Some rides are possibly scene scary for younger ones such as (but all would be good if they don't get scared):
Snow White
Pinocchio
Mr. Toad
Roger Rabbit
Pirates
Haunted Mansion

You can take the little one on any ride without a height restriction. Which is basically all the non-thrill rides. We took our 5 month old and just got back taking DD who is now 14 months old. She didn't really get scared at anything either time. We took her on all the fantasyland rides, pirates, haunted mansion, all the rides listed above. I think when they are that young they don't really know enough to be scared by anything. Or maybe she's just a tough little girl, I don't know. The only thing that scared her was the pirate head that pops up and screams when you touch the gold bar in the Pirate's Lair on the island.
