Being highly claustrophobic I want to avoid the rides that will ruin a wonderful vacation. Several of the rides I have avoided for fear of being enclosed or strapped down are star wars, tower of terror, dinosaur, test track, rocking roller coaster and space mountain. Knowing that the two roller coasters obviously strap a person in I know I wouldn't be able to handle it. But on the other rides I am wondering if anyone can tell me how they are. I had some insight a while back about tower of terror.

Mission: SPACE is a definate avoid if your claustrophobic where the vehicals are tiny dark pods with shoulder restraints.

Don't forget Body wars, which is the same vehicle as star tours. Not sure it is just seatbelts or if it is lapbars that get you, but Test Track and Dinosaur both use seatbelts. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad uses lap bars, but is a coaster, but is outside, so not sure if you would be okay on that one.

Just so you know, Tower of Terror is rather open. All you have is a seatbelt on, no harness or lap bars. The front of the car is open and the sides are almost chain-link like. The back is the only thing that is actually solid.
