We are traveling with my Sister's family and she is bringing her 16 mos old. This is the baby's 3rd trip to WDW since she was born...princess: and this is our 16th trip...so we are oldies not noobies...:goodvibes

but now that she is really into music, dancing, and just visuals in general...

I am curious what rides or shows your toddler got the most enjoyment from....

we can't wait to see how she interacts on this trip now that she is older...will be really fun...

We took DS for his first trip at 17 months. Our biggest hit was Dumbo. Every time we would get close to Dumbo, he'd start clapping and yelling, "Yeah!" It was the same for Alladin's Magic Carpets and Triceratops Spin.

Our "sleeper" hit was Small World. We called Small World "Small Nap" because the music just lulled him right off!:rotfl:He loved it, but was just passed out before the end every time. Pretty much everything in Fantasyland was a hit.

Our biggest surprise was Pirates. He just loved the whole thing and would squeal with delight during the dark drop.:goodvibes

Have a great trip!

Playhouse Disney is great at DHS, almost anything in Fantasy land.

Have a great time!

At MK ~ Tiki Birds was a big hit, It's a Small World, Dumbo, Magic Carpets
At DHS ~ Playhouse Disney, Little Mermaid
At AK ~ Some ride I can't remember the name of like Dumbo in the Boneyard, Lion King Show and Safari
At Epcot ~ Nemo and Friends, Journey (although she still burrows into my shoulder on the sounds section)

Einsteins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and My Friends Tigger and Pooh. :)

We took my oldest at 21 months, he is now 2. Whenever we talk about how we are going again and what he wants to see this is one thing he keeps talking about. I am blown away by how much he remembers!

Seriously! They DO remember! I don't care how many people say they are too young to remember. Mine definitely do! Whenever we see the "Castle" at the beginning of a movie my now almost 3 year old says "Hey we been there!" and she has been for at least a year!

my son was 18mo last trip and he loved IASW. MIL was very excited about it because she loves it too!! He also loved Buzz Lightyear, and TSM.

Is Playhouse Disney an actual show? I think I have seen pictures of people sitting on the floor....is this true? about how long is it?

is there singing and dancing? my neice loves to dance:cutie:

It's an actual show. My youngest son loved it at 12 and 18 months. You sit on the floor and I think the show lasts about 30 minutes. They have bubbles come down from the ceiling and the kids stand up and dance. It's pretty interactive.
We took my son on everything that he was allowed to go on and he liked it all! He was a late walker so I used a baby carrier with him while we waited in line and the CMs let me "wear" him on rides. We had a stroller for when we were walking around.
My daughter went to Disneyland at age 16 months and had a blast! I swear she stopped to look at every flower, bird, and squirrel in the whole park! :lmao:

The People Mover!

My son was 14 months and loved it. It has become one of our favorite rides. There is never a line, and there is a nice breeze even in the hot summer months!

At 16 months, my son loved all the ducks by Crystal Palace, Jungle Cruise, Winne the Pooh, Small World, Playhouse Disney, and Nemo and Friends.
He fell asleep in Haunted Mansion and POTC. I think it was the darkness and A/C.

My daughter does the same thing... Look Mommy its Disney were going there... lol its so cute... At close to that age she loved Dumbo and Pirates and those are still two that she wants to do the most (or talks about the most lol) :goodvibes

PLayhouse Disney show, Beauty & the Beast, Pooh ride, IASW, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Dumbo...

We also went during thePreschool Magic time (September) and saw Ralph's World and Johnny & the Sprites live, and my DD liked that a lot.

My DS was 18 months old and he LOVED the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at DHS. I think his favorite thing was riding the bus back to the resort :confused3

I guess ours is odd... Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Mr. Toad (we were at DL). He loved IASM, Playhouse Disney, pretty much everything we went on.

The only one my DD cared about was It's a small World. She would get up and dance to the music. It was so cute! We took her on it 3 or 4 times and she loved it every time.

My kids favorite....the monorail! And just about every playground in every park. I would say to them, "but we have tons of playgrounds at home." But apparently Disney playgrounds are not the same as our ordinary playgrounds.

I took my DD to DL when she was 17 months and WDW when she was 18 months. Some of my best Disney memories are from those trips, it was all magical to her and she was adorable to watch! Her absolute favorite at both parks was It's a Small World. She also really enjoyed the Tiki birds, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion. She was terrified of the characters getting close to her at that age, but she did love the rides. I'm getting tears in my eyes remembering my sweet baby girl saying, 'more pease, dolls' every time we would be near the Small World ride.

Have a wonderful time!
