Hello Dis Family:

We are going to WDW Dec 31-Jan 7th. HOORAY!

What rides have you taken your 3 month old on? I know Tower of Terror and Test Track are out :D but what about rides like Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear, POTC, etc.

PS-We went when I have 12 weeks pregnant and we are going back when my son is 12 weeks old! Isn't that nifty? :cool1:

I would suggest using some type of carrier. We used our Baby Bjorn, it was great for waiting in line and I wore it on all the rides we took the baby on. While my son was older, almost 9mo on his first trip, I would think with a smaller baby a carrier would be essential.

I would say skip PoTC, there is a drop and also Mselstrom in Epcot. All rides have a CM there and they will stop you if a baby can't go on the ride. I have taken my kids both at almost 9mo and they went on alot of things. They slept through alot of it too! I was so shocked how they would sleep through all the loud noises! You would be fine on Spaceship Earth, Small World, Peter Pan, HM. Really anything with no drops or extreemly loud noises. Expect your baby to sleep alot! Oh, and don't forget to bring your own stroller and take advanyage of the baby care centers!

Just got back from WDW with our 5 month old DD and was amazed at what we managed with her. We did all of Adventureland, all of Fantasyland, Buzz, TTA, WDWRR, Haunted Mansion, Carousel of progress and Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom. At Animal Kingdom we did Festival of the Lion King, Triceratop Spin, Jungle Trek, Kilimanjaro Safari and ITTBAB. At Epcot we only managed Spaceship Earth and the ride in Mexico, because our 5 and 6 year old DD and DS wanted to go on Test track repeatedly. We didn't do much at MGM, just Indiana Jones ESS, and Fantasmic. Older children liked Star Tours too much and when we attempted to go on Backlot Tour it was shut. She also slept through the parades and enjoyed Wishes. Magic Kingdom is definitely the best park with an infant!

Molly went on Pirates at 12 weeks - she was fine, the drop is quite small.
She went on most everything that her not particularly brave 6 year old sister went on.
We used a Baby Bjorn and she was fine in that.
only thing I wouldn't take her on was the teacups

We're going with a 1 year old in Feb. 2005 :cool1: , and I'm thinking that the 3-D attractions, such as Mickeys Philharmonic, ITTBAB, and HISTA, may not be too good due to the loud noises (and in the case of ITTBAB the rotten smell factor). Anyone have any experience with these attractions with young children? TIA, Karen

I nursed my 5 month old DD during PhilharMagic, Muppetvision 3D and ITTBAB. I kept my hand over her ear and shielded her face so that she wasn't easily distracted from feeding and to prevent the short bursts of air from taking her breath away. She was quiet during all of the shows and fell asleep during ITTBAB and PhilharMagic!
