I would love to know what rides you are afraid to get on, which ones you've vowed never to get on again, and which ones have made you sick.

I'm scared of rollar coasters, so I've never been on Space Mountain (I MAY try to work up the courage to get on it in Sept. though). I did ride Tower of Terror once, but I :worship: thanked GOD when it was over. And I really enjoyed Mission Space, but was sick for about 2 hours after I got off. :crazy2:

So now it's your turn to post . . . :listen:

Body Wars made me nauseous, but Star Tours (same basic ride except for the movie part) didnt' bother me at all. It's an issue of perception for me and my inner ear. Star Tours was easy because I felt like I knew up from down. Body Tours there was no reference and it really made me dizzy. Also, I got nauseous in TimeKeeper. It's too hard to watch the movie for me. Otherwise, I can easily ride Space Mountain and just about anything else in WDW.

I've never been scared on a ride. Star Tours bothered me a lot. I felt a little light-headed after Mission:Space, but it REALLY hurt my sister who was sick for the rest of the day (it basicaly ruined our day at Epcot).

Other than that, we're good to go! We've been on all of the coasters, Tower of Terror, and all other simulators with no problems.

Anything that spins me. I can handle all the rollercoasters but I can't handle the tea cups or the merry go round!!

I felt a little weird after Mission Space but it was so cool.

I also did fine on Primevil Whirl.

Mission space always makes me a little queasy for about an hour or so. Would not go on it twice in a row.

ToT always gives me the jitters. I am not sure why but I guess that is the point of the ride. :)

None have made me sick or have I vowed to never go on again. Now my husband...that is a different story. :rotfl:

OK - my family laughs at me, but the "family" raft ride at the water park. I did it 4 years ago and then last year I decided to try it again - maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember. When I got off I told my husband to remind me never to go on it again!!!! I felt like I was going to tip over!! I think it's a control issue for me - the biggest rollercoaster I'll attempt is big thunder mountain.

Let me start by saying I am a ride junkie! I LOVE rides! Normally in life I am shy, play it safe, not a rule breaker kind of gal. But when it comes to rides , call me Cybil (split personality!). Last trip my oldest DS pirate: (8 at the time) decided to try Mission Space. We were waitting in line with another mother and son( he was about the same age as mine) she was telling me she had rode the ride first to make sure it was o.k. for her son to go on. It is a great ride, and we will enjoy it. I was glad when we were put in the same 4 seated "pod?" as her, she was a nice person- I was enjoying talking with her. Well here we go........OMG.....For the first minute all was good, but that was about it! I started to get cold sweats, I was dizzy, the little voice in my head kept saying..you can make it, but my body wasn't listening. Finally I started to ask the women ( seriously trying not to cry) is this almost over. She was great, she talked me through it until it was over. When my son and I got off the ride, we met my DH and DS :earboy2: ( who was 5, and was smart enough not to go on!) in the area with the controlers and games. I had to sit b/c I really thought I was going to either :faint: or :crazy2: !!!! My pirate: (8) grabbed my DH, and went right back on the ride :earseek: !!! So I waited with DS :earboy2: (5) a good half an hour (longest of my life !) for DH:earsboy: and DS pirate: to "complete their mission" mind you, trying to talk myself out of :faint: or :crazy2:. After they were done, I had to go back to the hotel and lay down!!! It was the worst feeling !!! I don't know which was hurting more, my dizzy body or my pride! Needless to say, I won't be looking for a job to go on the next Shace Shuttle anytime soon!!! And my DS( now 9) loves telling people how its one of his favorite rides, and that his mother can't handle it :confused3 :rotfl: !

Rides that made me feel sick.
Teacups (I was 5 and I still won't ride it 34 years later)
Body Wars
MS (first time wasn't so bad but the second time we left park because my head won't stop spinning)
Star Tours (bothered me the past 2 times and I've been riding since '94)

Rides that scare the heck out of me.

ToT (I've ridden it but will never ride it again. The last time was '97. I sit while DD12 goes on. No Thank You)

Rides I love
Primeval Whirl (not sure why this doesn't bother me but oh well)
Splash Mountain, BTMR, Space Mountain, RnR, and Soarin (hope this one never bothers me)

At WDW??? Only one, and it isn't there in it's original form anymore. That would be Alien Encounter. Now that it is Stitch Escape, it doesn't bother me. The rest of the rides are very tame, by most theme park standards.

Hey Lorikr65- my family will be at PC 12/7. I'll look for the lime green mickey! :bounce:

Mission Space!!! We had the grandparents watch the kids one night. We spent about an hour walking around before we rode MS. It made both of us so sick we went back to the hotel. We got back before the kids went to sleep. What a waste of a free babysitter. :guilty:

Dinosaur scares the heck out of me. Alien Encounter was a little bit scary but not to the extent of Dinosaur.
Body Wars makes me queasy. I never do the Teacups so I can't say how they would be.

ok so I am not the only one to think dinosaur is scary! so that being said did any kids really like it? I am debating wether or not to take my DS7 - he likes bumpy rides, just not sure about thouse big things popping up!

the only ride in WDW that ever scared me was Soarin'. i am a bit scared of heights and when you come trough the clouds and find yourself suddenly flying over the golden gate bridge can really scare a person who doesnt like heights. it took me a few minutes to tell myself i am not really flying and its only a ride, just a few feet off the ground etec. when i finally was able to relax a bit i really enjoyed soarin' so much i rode it 4 more times during our stay.

My twins are 7. One rides dinosaur as many times in a row as we will let him. The other one sits by the exit while DH and I trade off.

I am 63 now and I thought I was going to die after I got off the Tea Cups in 1957 when I was 15. We have been to WDW or Disneyland about 30 or so visits and I have never and will never get on them again. I have ridden Mission Space twice and was a little bit shaky after the rides but I did ok. It was worth the shakiness because it is such a great ride. The simulators make me feel bad for about a half hour so I stay off them. The one that wears me out is Big Thunder Mountain because it is so rough.
