Inspired by the Disney thread, what rides at Universal (either park though I don't know of any rides in IofA that went away).

Me it's Back to the Future and Jaws with honorable mention to King Kong.

I never got to experience Universal till Jan 2012....But I am so sad JAWS is gone..it is the ONE ride I had wanted to ride and it closed for good a few days before we arrived for our first trip

For me it's Back to the Future and Jaws too. Loved them.

Also it would have been nice to have seen the GhostBusters show too - especially as it's the 30th anniversary this year.

Can you miss a Queue? I miss the old Dueling Dragon Queue. I liked it better than the triwizard tournament theme of Dragon Challenge. I'm also sad Jaws had to leave.

In the, sad I never got to experience it category, I'd put the original King King (although I like the replacement in ROTM), and the Ghostbusters show that used to be in Twisters former location.

I don't miss any of them. Nothing that was there we did more than once a vacation. The replacements are rides that we ride multiple times. There are some more that I wouldn't miss if they were gone.

I miss the feeling that it is a studio. I liked the tours of the Nick soundstages and Alfred Hitchcock walkthrough. I also like the behind-the-scenes and informational feel of the old Earthquake more than the current Disaster (though the Walken special effect is pretty sweet!)

I miss the Alfred Hitchcock exhibit as well, it's what got my husband and I hooked on all his obscure stuff. I also miss King Kong, but not JAWS all that much. I really miss the original Poseiden's Fury storyline, probably what I miss most of all.

I miss the tour tram they had back in 1993
And Hitchcock building

Boo hoo

Agreed, a lot of people were upset that we lost that queue and the two AMAZING dragon statues outside.

I miss Kong, I know there's a new ride being built but I really enjoyed the old one

I miss Back to the Future, for sure.

And I do miss the Nickelodeon studios. I remember the Slime fountain.

I miss the ET intergalactic passport. Making up fake names and waiting to hear ET say them and mispronounce them. My kids always giggled when we gave the fake names and then scrambled to put them in the correct order before boarding the ride.

I miss Jimmy Neutron because there was never a wait (EP). After the long walk to get in the park, you could always get in very quickly to cool off. Plus the chicken song always made everyone smile. My kids still say the lines ("the mach 5 is highly unpredictable, here jelly jelly, elvis, llama llama).

We used to do,

Seymour Harry Dick

But then they started to remove certain phrases.

I miss the Hitchcock stuff as well and the backlot tour.

I miss Kongfrontaton as well. The queue was cool and the huge Kong was just amazing!

I also miss Back to the Future. That was one awesome ride!

I loved Jaws, but at least I enjoy the Harry Potter section. Loved HItchcock too but also like Shrek 4D. Back to the Future is the one that still bothers me. I know the Simpsons ride is similiar in style, but I was never a Simpsons fan. Back to the Future, however, is my all time favorite trilogy and the Simpsons ride almost makes me resentful.

I loved the Hitchcock exhibit. I also liked the Murder She Wrote exhibit. I can remember going to Universal for my 16th birthday & getting to play a part in the Murder She Wrote show. I am turning 39 next month. WOW!
