I've never made it on:
Tower of Terror
Rock n Roller Coaster
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Moutain - It was closed but probably would have chickened out too. :o

I did conquer my fear and go on Space Moutain. I almost didn't go on Test Track b/c it sounded fast. Double :o

So what are you nemisises?

My DS's12 wouldn't brave ToT recently, but there 6 year old sister (all 34 pounds of her) thought it was the most fun ever. They may never live this down!!!:p :p :p

As a manly man, I've never refused to ride anything, but as I get older (born 7/30/64) spinning rides and I do not mix well! So if I were to "chicken out" on a ride, it would probably be the tea cups!

I've yet to find one! The only ride I can think of that I didn't particularly care for was: gwazi(over at busch gardens). too jerky! even the e-tickets at disney are pretty harmless(more about the overall theming than pure thrill--which, BTW is ok.)

I don't think I'll ever ride Tower of Terror or Rock'n roller coaster:o
Teacups - never (barf!)

I became a wimp about 10 years ago after braving Space Mountain - my heart rate didn't slow down to normal for a 1/2 hour after getting off! I just can't handle the *extreme* adrenaline rushes anymore :(

That being said, I absolutely LOVE BigThunder & Splash mountain (the big drop is ~almost~ too scary for me though). Test Track was no problem.

Tulip - you can handle Big Thunder, it doesn't feel anywhere near as extreme as Space mountain. It has so many cool features/themes and though fast, not so fast that you miss the scenery. Try it!:)

The only rides I get nervous on are drop rides. But I am not sure I would "chicken out" on any of them. There is certainly not anything at WDW that I would not ride.

Will definitely have to say TOT. Did it when it first opened (it only dropped you once then!) and wouldn't do it again. Don't enjoy that feeling of "weightlessness".

I must say I did brave RnR though, whew, what a take off - I really thought I was going to lose it the first 3 seconds but once that passed what a rush it is!!

BTMR really isn't bad unless you don't like having your neck jerked around a little. There really aren't any big drops and it's really not too rough. Got to ride it last month for the first time in years. It's not nearly as rough as SM.

Fear is as much a part of your imagination as fun.

When we get older we lose a lot of the fun and grow the fear.

I like to use fear to get me going, to expand my horizons. As such I love trying things that scare me a little, they really make me feel alive and spark my imagination. I love the anticipation at Splash Mountain (which I found WAY more terrifying than TOT) and I love all rollercoasters (Can't wait to try Hulk and Dueling Dragons at IOA). In fact the only one I can't think of doing is Summit Plummet. I seems pretty scary to me. But I'm not syaing I won't do it when I arrive, just that it will be a little scary.

Maybe that's why I should do it.

The only ones I won't go on are the Mad Tea Party, Body Wars and Astro Orbiter. They all make me sick to my stomach.

The drops, the spinning , the inversions are all a piece of cake! I never met a roller coaster I didn't like!

But, just reading about Alien Encounter did me in!!

Spooky, creepy things in the dark -- NO WAY!!

I barely made it through the Haunted Mansion!

I've never chickened out of any ride. Although I will say it was sheer peer pressure that forced me to go through with doing the Summit Plummet. And I can honestly say I will NEVER do it again. Hated it.

If I had read about it before going in I wouldn't have! I won't be doing it again!

I'm only 26 and have always had a fear of roller coasters and the like. I can't stand the drops. I've actually gotten more adventurous as I've gotten older so that's not always true of everyone.

I have ridden ToT twice, and will never do it again. I have had the idea of not going with me as the solo adult anymore, hence the other adult will have to ride with the willing child. I have never ridden Rock n Roller Coaster and never will. :earseek:

Body Wars has found an enemy in me! That ride totally ruined me for the rest of our trip. Even silly rides like Universe of Energy made me dizzy after that. And I'm talking like 2 days later. Never again!

I did TOT back when it "only" had 2 drops. I was OK until that point where they put the whirly twirly images in front of you. That did it for me. I had to sit down for a few minutes after that but was ok. I *might* try it again but close my eyes when I think that part is coming.

I haven't tried Space Mountain but might work up my nerve to do that one. Any of the true thrill rides I won't do - too many to mention. Splash Mountain and BTMR are fine.

I don't like roller coasters much ... but I was okay with Space Moutain. I've chickened out of Splash Mountain and ToT ... The drop on Splash Mountain looks so huge... I get a funny feeling in my stomach just looking at it ... ToT I might try this trip.. maybe :p

Untill Space Mountain gets head/neck restraints, I'm going to chicken out. It's really kind of a mild roller coaster compared to the modern ones, but the potential for neck injury is huge! You are unrestrained above the shoulders & with all of the sharp changes of direction in the dark, it's whip lash city!

Growing up next to Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom you learn to love Roller Coasters. On of the best days of my life was when I was tall enough for all of the big coasters in Kings Island. WDW rides are all about themeing and not thrills. The attractions are relatively easy and not to long or too many inversions. I was actually disappointed with the quality of the thrill in the thrill rides but the themeing made up for it :). Alien Encounter was totally lame, a waste of a Fast Pass and the 30 min waiting in the Fast Pass line. But I have to admit Haunted Mansion scared me and I was 24!!!! (Hey it was nighttime when I rode, OK!....Quit Laughing at me.... STOP... IT IS VERY SCARY!!!!)
If you want thrills try IOA all of them were worth the wait without the Fast Pass they have.
But Disney has the extras that just can't be beat.

I have tried both RnR and AStro Orbitors and they both made me feel very sick never again on those...

I will not try the Teacups ever as I do get sick..so chickening out on that one...

I avoid Space Mtn as I have trouble getting in and out of them.

Let's see.....there are really only 2 rides that I can think of that I chicken out of......Summit Plummet and Alien Encounter. One time I made it all the way to the top of Summit Plummet (not really by choice). As soon as I made it to the top I freaked out!!! I was like..No WAY! So, I walked all the way back down the stairs. You couldn't pay me enough to do it. Another ride that I have done but will never do again is Alien Encounter. That ride scared me so much!!! It was too intense for me......so I would chicken out of that any day.....anything else I'm game for :D
