What Rides Are Overhyped?

Stitch. Jungle Cruise. Bear County Jamboree...OMG was that awful!! Tiki room (something like that with all of those birds) Stunt Motor Show...gosh was that kinda lame for me

I can't call Stitch overhyped, it had no hype to begin with!

Stitch great escape, just not worth waiting for.

BUZZ LIGHTYEAR for my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After doing MIB at US,,, Buzz does not even hold a candle to it!!!!

plus half way through I get tired of shooting things!!!

MK: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
EPCOT: Test Track
AK: Dinasaur, Priminal Whirl, and Kali River Rapids.

Test track... it was a big let down for me and DH. We waitied a long time and it wasn't all that great. We only did it that once and didn't even try again on vacation.

MK: Pirates of the Carribean just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully, the rennovations will improve it, or even better, make it into what seems like a whole new ride. pirate:

Epcot: I have to agree with Test Track--it really is a lot like riding in the car most days (don't tell anyone that I drive like that ;) )

MGM: Lights, Motor, Action---what was all the hype about this anyway

AK: Hmmm....can't think of one over-hyped.....don't love Dinosaur, but I give it credit for good technology, which is what the hype was about.

I really like Test Track, but I like cars and seeing what goes into building them.

Gotta go with Test Track on this one, like many others.

I'll also add Soarin'. It's a decent ride, but not worth a 90-minute wait to me. I'll save a lot of time and have just as much fun going over to Mission Space and walking on.

Soarin'. The first time we rode it, be were front row in the left section. We thought it was just OK.

BIL hadn't been on it yet, so we went on again, this time front row, middle section. It was a little better second time, but still not "great".

Last time we were at WDW, we didn't even bother going on it.

what did you expect........ a skydiving experience.............geeesh

in essence every ride at disney is overhyped/overated if you are looking for a major thrill ride experience! thats what cedar point, six flags, and univesal studios are for

Just goes to show ya - there's something for everyone :wizard:

We rode test track 5 times in a row. Granted there was NO line, and we had little people, 3, 5 and 8 at the time.

The one I don't get is Dumbo. I've seen two different touring hints places that say, oh you just HAVE to get over there or your kids will die. My kids look at that and say "oh well, I'm not standing in line for THAT baby ride" I don't think they've ever been on it.

I have to say Buzz. I think I may try it again, but I will not wait in a line for it.

Each time a thread like this starts, it proves again that for every person who loves a ride, someone else wants it shut down...except for Stitch. I've never heard anyone say a good word about it.

LOL... :rotfl2:

Sorry--you're right--I am way way over 3 and shouldn't judge for that age group!!! Apologize to the boys for me!

They have graciously accepted your apology. :thumbsup2

Stitch and Test Track for me. They just don't do anything to get me going.

See you all in june!!!!!!!

I know a lot of people haven't ridden it but Im going to say Expedition Everest. Here's why. Disney hyped it up so much that there was no way it was going to live up to expectations, $100 million? I dont what I was expecting, and don't get me wrong I relaly do like Expedition Everest, but there are MANY MANY roller coasters that are 1/10th of that in cost, and are much better.

I also think Stitch is not only overated, its pathetic. It needs to go.
Bring back Alien Encounter! :)
