Is a ding fare just like purchasing a regular air fare or is it a standby air fare...

Ding! fares are just regular fares that are lower than normal because they are offered for very short time periods, usually for just a few hours. They are generally very limited in terms of flight choices and availability, and often are only valid for particular flights or dates of travel. You still have all the privileges of anyone else purchasing their SWA airfare...you just have the privilege of keeping some of your money in your pocket.

It's regular air fare. You can print out your boarding passes 24 hours before your flight. We have flown SW dings our last 5 flights, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

I love the DIS Boards

I was mad because the SW fare went up about $75 ($275 to $350) within the last few days for our trip in September. I downloaded DING today and I am now getting the fare for $200.
