What restaurants would you like to see added to Disney?

At DL a long time ago....they had carts that sold pretzel bread wrapped hot dogs...I know it isn't a resturant...but boy were they yummy! And I haven't seen one in years! Yep...time to go home for breakfast!

Another vote for Villians...although I want Si and Am there!

I would love to see a pan-asian or china bistro like PF Changs at downtown disney or even a park or resort. I would also love to see a CS for LeCellier in addition to the restaurant. I have heard people mention they have gotten tale out from the restaurant, but it would be awesome if they had a stand like they do at the food and wine festival all year round. They could serve just cheddar soup and pretzel bread and I'd be happy. I also think AK needs a new sitdown restaurant. I liked the idea someone mentioned about having a animal-themed show at the restaurant too. They could even do the pan-asian restaurant in the Asia section. One more thing that could be really cool would be to have a CS or TS that goes along with the Haunted Mansion theme at MK. Now that could be fun! Alright so I lied...this is really the last one...I think Adventureland would be a great place to have like a Pirate themed sit down restaurant...It could be a cool seafood restaurant. ok NOW im doen :)

Another sit down in Animal Kingdom. A very good restaurant would be a reason for people to stay there past 12:30!

I will echo another posters choice...a sitdown in Adventureland. I could go where Adventureland Verandah was and serve Caribbean food.

A few more places that serve sweet tea..DH about went into shock until we found Liberty Tavern , but I don't want to eat there everyday so give the man more sweet tea PLEASE!!!!!!

I agree that AK needs more sit down type places!!!

more dining options at animal kingdom.

a villains character meal.

i would love to have a nice couples only restaurant. yes i know its disney but it would be nice to have a meal with no kids.

Something with some spice! Either:
1) Thai
2) Indian
3) Vietnamese
4) Malaysian/Singaporean

that would be yum!

We just got back from our week long WDW stay. I was really jonesing for some good pizza. I don't like that the only options for pizza that I can find are just cheese pizza or pepperoni pizza. I think it would be great if they had a specialty pizza restaurant where you could order pizzas from different regions of the US and around the world. The first obvious two that come to mind is Chicago Deep Dish and New York Style pizza.

I would like a boys themed restaurant with either Buzz/Woody or Peter Pan/ Captain Hook in attendance. Although I love all the princess meals, both of my children are boys and are old enough to refuse to attend the "girls" restaurants now.

A real New York Jewish Deli!!!!

A Starbucks everywhere you turn followed by a Krispy Kreme donut shop

A salad, sandwich and soup place with a lot of choices for soups

I love the idea of a villian dinner and a Prince dinner for little boys would be great.

A bagel sandwich place, with different types of bagels, cream cheeses, toppings, and sandwich choices

A create your own burrito stand so you can pick and choose your own stuff

A smoothie stand to create your own smoothie or health drink

A Cold Stone Creamery stand

Just to name a few ha ha

How about a redoing Ice Station Cool in another spot featuring sample Starbucks products!

A Mongolian Barbecue.

I love the real pizza place idea. The problem I guess is that pizzas take 30 minutes from start to finish.

And of course Thai...make it genuine even if people in parts of the country without spicy foods don't like it.

Also...redo Mexico so the food there is fully traditional and have real Coca Cola hecho en Mexico...Surely Coke would agree to let the real thing in country. They can redo the movie in the ride while they are at it.

Just said to my DH that I was at MGM Studios there were more places to eat. Then I thought, why not a deli or a pizza place back on New York Street even making some sort of bistro or something like they have in NYC.

Well, there used to be a great restaurant with an orchestra, singers/dancers, and dancing (jacket and tie were required). It was called "The Top of the World" and was replaced (ruined?) by The California Grill. This place also had a great breakfast (quieter, for adults) and one of the best Sunday brunches ever.

Another "adult-type" restaurant was "The Empress Room," which was replaced by Fulton's Crab House.

A number of great restaurants were replaced by more commercial, trendy, restaurants that appeal more to a younger (go ahead and flame me if I say less sophisticated) crowd. I'd like to see some of those restaurants return.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a Cracker Barrel or Outback Steakhouse. Good, simple food, period!

Turn Odyssey into a best of the "WDW" Where you can get the best from each of the restaurants. Such as Soup & preztel bread from Canada, Stuffed french toast from Kona, Cobb saladfrom BD & so on & the menu would change maybe monthly. That way maybe some people could try things from places that they might not of chosen before. they could do a survey once a year to decide what would go on the menu.

And of course a Boy char meal. A great coffee shop.

I would love it if they put an Indian restaurant in Animal Kingdom! (or anywhere else for that matter). Indian food...yum!

Great ideas! Here are some of mine.

Take the Diamond Horseshoe Revue (may be called something else now) and make it "Woody's Round up" with sandwiches, pizza, and western entertainment on stage. Great for boys and girls.

Turn the American Pavillion restaurant into either a buffet or market (like the Pepper Market) featuring food from all over the country. Different displays of cajun, New York (deli? pizza?) Philly steak sandwiches, Pittsburgh's Primanti sandwiches (yummy!!!) californian cuisine, maine lobster, Texas roadhouse, BBQ. midwest steaks, starbucks coffee station...you get the idea.

A space ranger character meal for boys.

And not in the parks but around the resorts...more dinner shows!!! The luau and hoop dee doo have been there forever.

Love the ballroom dance/dinner thing. The dance hall at the boardwalk would be a great place for that. Atlantic Dance, I think it's called???

I like the tex/mex idea. Maybe in adventureland, in that old terrace restaurant that's been closed forever. I can't think of the name right now.

OK, I'm done now.

That is a great idea for Atlantic Dance. I miss when it was just Swing Dancing.

I hate hate hate the idea of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts in WDW. I love them anywhere but there.

I miss Diamond Horshoe, that should be resurrected.

I think they could do something very cool in tomorrowland for t/s. And definitely some new c/s that don't serve hamburgers and french fries, we can get those plenty of places.

Table Service Indian, in Asia in the Animal Kingdom.

A good pizza place, NOT Pizza Hut or any chain either, get a good New York City style pizzaria, maybe in MGM.

Please get more decent food in Magic Kingdom! BIL and I were convinced we would make a fortune if we just strolled around with food carts before the Holiday Parade...like at Fenway Park. Sausage, green peppers and onions, fresh popcorn, roasted peanuts...anything portable. We were starving that night and there was nowhere to eat since every place was closed before the Christmas party.

And definitely an Indian restaurant. I would be happy with a chow-patty cart (I think that is the right name...sorry if I'm wrong.) I crave Indian food regularly and there are no restaurants in my area. It is depressing.

Also, if all restaurants in Disney would offer grilled cheese, my son would be much happier.

Tim Horton's in Epcot near Canada.

I know this is far-fetched, but since we're fantasizing, I'd like Disney to add a gourmet organic vegetarian restaurant. :earsgirl:

I'd like counter service where you can actually customize your meals a bit (like a sub place where you can choose your bread and ingredients, and have the sandwich made fresh while you wait).

A wine-by-the-glass booth with a couple of dozen choices! There could be rotating wines so they wouldn't have the same choices all the time. An how about nice bread, crackers, and cheese (Disney is severely lacking in really GOOD bread).

I agree with a previous poster that the food in MK is pretty slim pickin's. I would love counter service with GREAT pizza (not the cardboard stuff) and beer or wine (in MK, YES!).
