What restaurants require a certain kind of dress code?

My main question is wether casual dress( and what level of casual?) will be appropriate for most disney restaurants? An if there are restaurants that do require a certain dress code? Thanks

The restaurants at the parks are very relaxed since most people go there before/during/after a day at the parks. I have never heard of a hard dress code at the restaurants located at the resorts but most folks make an effort to clean up before going (polo shirts, kaki pants, etc). If you were planning to eat at one of more upscale establishments at Grand Floridian I would double check as they might have specific dress codes for their high teas and formal dinners (I have never eaten there so I can't say).

That all being said, when I'm at the parks I'm usually dressed in t-shirts, tanks, jeans and/or shorts - very casual and I've never felt out of place eating at Le Cellier, Mama Rosa's or any of the character meals. Did you have any specific venues in mind?

All of the theme park restaurants are very casual - theme park attire is fine. Shorts, t-shirts, etc. is what most people wear.

Victoria and Albert's is dressy - men must wear a jacket.

Several of the signature restaurants - Artist Point, Cali Grill, Jiko, Narcooses, Citricos, Yachtsman Steakhouse are the ones that come to mind - require "resort casual" clothes. This is generally taken to mean nice shorts, shirts with collars, etc. They did just redo the policy to allow t-shirts, so probably anything other than tank tops, caps, swim suit cover ups, etc. is fine. When you make an ADR for one of these places, they'll remind you. Maybe someone else knows the exact guidelines...
