We have no kids yet so all of our trips - so far - are just two adults. Some of our favorites:
The Grand Floridian Cafe is a great option - usually not very crowded, great food, great service, beautiful setting and big windows open out onto the GF courtyard grounds. Breakfast, lunch, dinner... it's all good. Take the boat to the MK after eating, or to the GF if you are in the MK.
Kona Cafe for breakfast - real coffee, relaxing Hawaiian music, good food.
Jiko is our favorite signature meal. Cali Grill is nice once but over-rated, IMHO. If it were not on the top floor of the Contemp it would not be nearly as popular. Noisy, busy, hectic, etc. Good food, though. Not better than any of the other high end places on property.
For burgers the Sci-Fi Dine-In at DHS is a great burger, fries, and shake place. I wouldn't get anything else there, though.
We loved our dinner at Tutto Italia if you want more pasta.
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is the best counter service place in WDW - lots of options and generally quite good. Almost a CS on steroids/baby TS. Better than some TS we've had.
In the MK if you like seafood the Columbia Harbour House has great CS food and there is extra seating upstairs and you can sit by a window overlooking the Haunted Mansion, Fantasyland view, or towards the Riverboat that a lot of people don't know about. HM is DW's favorite so we get lunch or dinner and go find a table with a window view of the HM for her.
