There are several on my list that I would like to try again, the first time we went either someone wasn't feeling good or the service was horrible:

Rose and Crown
Le Cellier
Garden Grill
Boma
Luau

Mine is Boma. I just didnt enjoy it yet I know lots who have. I felt rushed and the service wasnt very good. I would like to try again.
On the other hand I would never give Beaches and Cream another chance as everything there was awful.

Yes, Boma - we were staying at AKL and DH wasnt feeling well so I felt rushed to hurry and I didn't try things I would have liked to. Also our waitress was not that great either.

Interesting thread.

I don't know of any right now..I mean there are plenty I want to return to because I loved them so much, but giving something another shot means I would have to have been underwhelmed. Well, we recently gave California Grill another shot and I enjoyed it. Also Spoodles, but um, no. We were right about it the first time.

what about Spoodles didn't you like? We haven't been there but were planning to go one of these days.

Well, I guess it isn't as strong an emotion as dislike...just taht everything was very mediocre and I had heartburn and all sorts of unpleasant indigestion issues later on.

I had the salmon with vegetables, and I was not too thrilled to see the vegetables were basically zucchini and squash, which are the cheapest as far as vegetables go. I'd rather have anything than squishy zucchini. With all the other fine meals we had (at California Grill, Bluezoo, Artist Point and Le CEllier to name a few) it just really was blah.

I WILL say that the bread and mediterrean dipping sauces was good, and I singlehandedly polished off the hummus (I LOVE hummus). And there was no wait for a table despite the fact we just walked in. Service was OK, but not memorable.

So, I wouldn't say it was bad, just not memorable enough to return to. We first tried it in 2001, and it was very tapas-oriented. I preferred that, to be honest, although DH wasn't too impressed with the actual tapas. I am sorry to see they changed it into your standard run of the mill restaurant that serves salmon and freakin' zucchini.

Le Cellier - my entree of filet and mushroom rissotto was too salty - I mean, REALLY salty - I couldn't eat it. Everything else was good, and everyone else's food was good - I would like to go back and have a more enjoyable experience.

Ohana Charater Breakfast but only because Stitch is there now. :stitch: CRT because I have a Daughter now. and well it's the Castle, ya know.

We gave Alfredos in Italy a second chance this past December and really enjoyed it. The food and service was very good. We had ate there several years before and just hated it.

I'm giving 'Ohana another try. This was my favorite restaurant at WDW. We ate there maybe 5 times a year. Loved it! After they changed the menu we tried it and really thought it was terrible. Well, the bread pudding was good! Between the food and the service we just felt it was horrible. We vowed never to return but after talking it over we will give it one more time, if only for the dessert!

Probably 50sPTC.
Our first visit there was phenomenal. Then we tried it two more times after that and it got worse and worse each time. Stale service, boring and dry food, etc. Our last time was in 2004. I think we'll give it another go in a couple years.

For my family, its The Brown Derby. My husband and I ate there about 7 years ago before we had the kids and found the selection to be limited and did not enjoy what we did order. Would love to try again because so many others here seem to like it. :confused3

CG. Way underdone chicken :crazy2: Stayed away our last trip, but now we are willing to give it another try based on the fact we had always enjoyed it before and hope things were just "off" in the kitchen that night. So I'll let you know in two weeks ;)

For me it is Biergarten, I haven't been since 1997. We were on a premium plan with 3 meals per day on this trip. We went late in the trip and for lunch so I just was too stuffed to really eat anything there :goodvibes .
DH's family is from Germany and DS3 would love the music!

I agree with an earlier poster about Alfredos. We went in 2000 and hated it and went this past October and thought it was outstanding!

I have two, Jiko and Marrakesh. I thought the desserts at Jiko were unimpressive taste-wise, they looked really good, but besides the pistachio creme brulee, I didn't care for any of them, the appetizers were good, and the service was great though, so I'll probably return here during my Oct 07 trip. At Marrakesh, I thought that the service was very slow, and the food was hit or miss, I really enjoyed the chicken kebabs, but found the rice to be blah, and the seafood bastilla dry and tasteless.
