What restaurants do you recommend? DL ONLY please.

I was just looking for a res @ Carthay Circle Lounge for dinner and there were no times available (today is 60 days). There were only 2 oddball times showing for lunch too. Is this normal for the lounge to be booked up that fast? We really liked the looks of the menu and hopefully we can luck into something that works out during our week in August.

Did you check right when the reservations opened in the morning? You have to be on top of that, especially for the popular restaurants. Even 5-10 minutes can mean the difference between getting a reservation and not getting one. I don't know if CCL is one of the earliest to go because I don't usually try for that one first. Keep checking back, though, because the reservation system isn't a set process; sometimes things don't drop and sometimes they drop early. It can be frustrating, to say the least.

Im here as a solo, but I found that Cathay circle shows up with multiple times looking for 4, and never looking for 2.

If you book for 3 or 4, can you go back later and edit it to 2?

Yes, you can edit to your actual party size, even if it isn't originally available for that number. At WDW, you never search for an odd number, and 4 is more successful that 2. That seems it might be the case for DL too
