for celebrating your 10th wedding anniversary :lovestruc

We will be celebrating our anniversary while on our trip. It would have to be a kid friendly restaurant with something for a child who is very picky. He basically eats - cheese pizza, cheesburgers, chicken fingers, grilled cheese & most breakfast foods.

We have never been to Disney before so I have no idea what to book that would suit our picky eaters.

TIA!

Don't let your child's tastes make the decision - almost EVERY restaurant has those same choices for children, or at least some of them. Take a look through the menus and decide for yourself what you prefer. Do you want quiet or rowdy? In a park or at a resort? Characters or not.

There are some lovely restaurants that could be good for all of you. I would choose something in Epcot - maybe Morocco or Italy - then finish up the evening by watching Illuminations. Look in the banner above here and click on Dining, then you can click through to the menus.

I agree with PP, there's plenty of choices on almost every menu for your children. Pick a place you and DH will love.

I personally love California Grill, Le Cellier and Tutto Italia.

Oh thank you I didn't know I could see the menu's!!! That makes a big difference!!!

Most disney restaurants are good at handling kids and have kid-friendly menus. Our 10th anniversary is coming up as well, and we are considering Ohana. We really enjoy the experience here. The Polynesian theme feels romantic to us, but there is food and stuff for the kids to do. The view is gorgeous, especially if you time it with the fireworks at MK (they lower the lights and pipe in the music). We always get lucky and time it with fireworks while we are enjoying dessert. Just perfect! Also, the singer makes a point of recognizing anniversaries and singing to you (if you like that kind of thing).

You know that would be so fitting because we went to Hawaii on our honeymoon:lovestruc I'm going to have to check that one out! Thanks :)

I love 'Ohana too, but just to let you know in advance it is very loud and children will be pushing coconuts and running around the restaurant. Not sure if thats what you had in mind for an anniversary.

Have you considered one of the world showcase restaurants (les chefs de france) or a signature experience (Jiko)? Coral Reef might be a good choice, that way your child will be entertained by the aquarium while you enjoy a peaceful meal. You might also enjoy watching fireworks while you dine at
Rose & Crown, Nacrosses, or California Grill.

Happy Anniversary! :goodvibes

No I wouldn't mind that at all considering we are bringing our three kids :rotfl: We are not calm, quiet, fancy dining kind of people so I think Ohana would be a good fit for us!

I'll have to take a look at the rest of the table service restaurants and figure out our other dinners!

Well in that case, 'Ohana might be good! :thumbsup2 We really have had great meals here. If you have never been, I highly recommend it. The food is delicious and it definitely has a "disney feel" to it. Cinderella's castle is right outside the window and the whole experience is very tropical. This is another meal where you can time it around the wishes firework show to view while you dine.

Good luck deciding! :goodvibes
