What restaurant(s) would you recommend near Cirque?

OP here, if you remember I was asking for recommendations for restaurants close to Cirque. I wasn't able to Get House of Blues (my 1st choice, but will keep on trying) but did get Wolfgang Pucks Café for 4pm. I think
that's pretty close to Cirque, which is my main objective, am I correct?

House of Blues is a bit tricky to get reservations at. I've had better luck calling them directly. There are also coupons for HoB on restaurant.com, which could make it a cheaper option.

I second this. When the WDW ADR site showed no availability, we called HofB directly and got a reservation. You can also try going through Open Table. Their availability for DS restaurants is better than Disney's.

WOW!! That would be great. I didn't realize I had the option of calling directly.

ETA....I found the number and called. The girl told me they only take reservations 2 weeks in advance. Just wondering was that the same for you DVC_Dad_Canada and Mrs. Ciz? Did you have to wait till 2 weeks ahead of your desired date to call? Looks like you were able to get the ressies for when you wanted so just wondering if that was only 2 weeks ahead of time or if this a new rule.
