I know that many restaurants have a signature dessert (grapefruit cake at Brown Derby -- zebra domes at Boma) but what restaurants do you think have the best overall desserts -- places where there are 4 or 5 choices where you can't go wrong?

Victoria and Albert's.

The choices (from a menu about a month ago) are:

Tanzanie Chocolate Pyramid with a Champagne-Chambord Truffle

Meyer Lemon and Blood Orange Purse with Blackberry-Violet Sherbet

Caramelized Banana Gateau

Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee

Grand Marnier Souffle

Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Souffle

My initial inclination is to say Yak & Yeti, because there is really only one choice there - the fried wontons - but you absolutely cannot go wrong with it!

Seriously, I would say a buffet such as Boma because that way your party can sample a number of choices. Or go whole hog and do the Wishes Dessert Party, where a) you have the most choices available and b) you are essentially making an entire meal out of desserts. If I had to pick one menu where the most desserts appealed to me I think I'd say Artist Point at WL, but that's just a matter of personal tastes.

I believe Kona Cafe has the best overall desserts. Several options to appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes, and all are amazing.
