When we all go it is always Planet Hollywood ! DD loves it !!When I go solo it depends!! Next time I am doing Raglan Road !! My one absolute must do is Crystal Palace !!
We always eat at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. It is a relaxing evening to eat by the water and the food has always been good, lus our first night is always in DTD.
Beaches & Cream! Our flights always seem to get us to WDW just in time for a late lunch. By that time, we're just hungry enough for a burger and a shake. A leisurely walk around the Boardwalk and an early night leads to a drink at the brewery and a hop over to Jellyrolls, then finally early to bed - early to rise!
We had always done Ohanas. Three years in a row the service and food have gotten progressively worse and worse. We just got back from 9 nights on Deluxe Dining and the only "bad" meal we had was Ohanas. Ohanas will no longer be our first night meal any longer.
Spoodles! Then a nice walk around the Boardwalk - though it was pouring rain last year, but by the time dinner was over we were finally dry and it was clear outside...
We just returned from our August trip and the first night we did Ohana. Our flight got in around noon, we spent the day at DTD just getting in the swing of things and had an ADR for 8:40pm. This couldn't have been a better first meal. I asked for a window seat and ended up with a two seater table for Dfiance and I right in front of Cinderellas Castle. The food was great and getting that great view of the fireworks really started the week off right. I had saved MK for the last of our trip so it was nice seeing that great view of the fireworks from far away the first night and then wrapping up our vacation with an up close right in front of the castle view at the end.
We arrive late morning, so we visit the Grand Floridian Resort and have lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. After lunch, we take a leisurely walk through the Magic Kingdom.
Since we drive, we usually leave very early and get there mid afternoon, and head right for DTD and dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Family tradition, its not a trip to Disney w/out that!
We always go to Epcot and eat dinner at Biergarten. We love listening to and watching the band perform. DH and I have a large beer, and we all have our favorites at the buffet. Then we finish the night watching our favorite nighttime show: Illuminations!
