What resort would you pick?

It's not. Which is why I would reather stay at WDW. There isn't much for 4 yr old to do on a regular cruise. Much less for a 4 yr old that is home w/ mom all day, every day. I am a little worried about a him on a cruise. I worry on dry land. I can't imagine how neurotic I'd be on a ship.

That is why I am not up for a cruise. DS and I are go, go, go vacationers. I would not want him to always be in the kids clubs and away from us. I am also afraid that both of us would go stir crazy on a ship. That is why Disney is so perfect for us because we can always find something to do that is different from what we did the day before. DH would like to try it some day though.

I think of a cruise as a more relaxing vacation. And while relaxing is great, I am home all day. I want to get out & see things. Plus I can't relax while I am worried that my son is miserable w/o his family. I don't understand the whole "family vacation" concept if everyone(including little ones) is in a different area of a ship doing their own thing. I completely agree that Disney is the best family vacation for those with little kids. There is always something new to see & do. I've been there more times than I can count & there are still things I haven't seen or done!

Good luck convincing your husband! I agree that I would much rather spend extra time at WDW than go on a cruise... just not a huge cruise person either!

And I think the BWI is a good choice. Being so young, your DS will likely not remember where you stayed a few years from now anyway! Save the AKL for when he is a bit older.

I'd stay at Poly. I think it's the most beautiful out of the deluxes.
