What Resort and Rate Did You Receive???

I didn't even realize they were out until I got home from work tonight. I can only pick up 2 nights at the Yacht Club in a standard room. We can do all 9 nights in concierge for $314 or do the other 7 nights at the Boardwalk. I don't want to stay at the Boardwalk. So I'm bumming. No availability at the Beach Club either.

I guess I'll research the BWI and see how awful it would be to stay there after being at the Yacht Club.

I modified my exisisting reservations at CSR for Aug 2 - Aug 6 at $139 per night with water view, the AP rate. Saved $160 off the original rate. I have 7 nights at the Swan for $124 per night and and 2 nights at POR $160 per night(AP rate not available for those dates yet.)

Yes your dates are in regular season. The $195 rate is for value season which states on July 5th.

I was able to transfer our existing AAA rate @ OKW, 2 bedroom 6/5-6/10 to the new AP rate. The price went from $3088.15 to $2615.65 & saved $472.50!!

It doesn't sound like the mods @ 139.00 per night are a great save with the AP rates??? I booked room only ressie at POR several months ago for mid June for $148.75 a night with standard AAA discount. I didn't have to buy an AP pass and am only paying $9.75 more per night?

Now I guess I don't feel so bad that I didn't wait for AP rates and went with AAA originally. Tempted now to try to get a Deluxe with those great deals, but really love the look of POR. Guess I'll leave it alone and quit bitting my nails!!!!! POR here we come.

Back in Janurary both Swan and Dolphin had special rate for July & August for $125 per night. Booked right away, then planned my vacation later. The rates went quick. Originally I booked for 7 nights, then when we started planning our trip a week later, I tried to extend it by 2 more days, but the rates had gone back up to over $200. Thats why we booked at POR for our last two nights.

I checked. It's the $36 off/night as advertised. Values are around $124 during this same time frame.

The savings on values and moderates are never as large as on deluxes.

When you're staying for 2 weeks, $39.00 a night adds up to a good savings.

1 BR at SSR for 1147$ for 4 nights ..That's around 286 a night w tax.

Do you think rate will come out for the general public soon? We want WL but I at least want a little discount! I used to be a AAA member but never used it at Disney, do you just call for the AAA rate and show card when you get there or do you have to go through a AAA agent?

You can do either however the AAA rates are slim pickens at this point depending on your dates.

The only thing I could find at the WL (our personal fave) was 255 a night for a courtyard view. Way toooo much in our opinion for the WL. Oh I long for the good old days of value season discounts at the MK resorts. The $109 rate with a free courtyard bear face room our first year was priceless

This year unfortunatley we'll be staying off site. Nothing available anywhere our dates for the AP rate except for DVC studios which we don't care for. Oh well may be its time to try something different
