What program to use?

I want to organize all of my trip planning info with a separate page for each topic. I know I've seen this done where there are tabs at the side of the document that act as an index (as in you click that tap, and it takes you to that document), but I can't remember which program it was in!

Does anyone know what I'm talking about, or can you recommend a program where I can do this?

Thanks!

Ami Pro used to have that feature. Sorry, that's all I remember.

Duh. Of course. I was thinking tabs that got you to "documents". But you could put information on a spreadsheet too! I'm just haven't woken up this morning, yet.

I was thinking Excel, but all of the sticking stuff into columns and rows is something I may be too lazy for! I wish Word had little tabs like Excel does! Maybe I should develop a program just for Disney planning.

microsoft onenote will also do this. You don't need to fiddle about with rows/columns like excel. You can also add highlighting, pictures, and anything else you want (I like to draw stuff on my notes like stars, arrows, etc.) It is very simple and intuitive, very much like having a stack of files with tabs in front of you. I believe you can purchase OneNote for um... 30/40 bucks or something like that? Great program -- i'm quite an addict.
