I have 1900 booked for dinner, but it will be at GFC due to renovations.
Would you keep this booking?
The norway dinner looks good for the princesses, but the menu and reviews I have read sounds like a bad choice for kids as for as eating.
I also have been reading mixed reviews on CRT.
Alson can anyone explain the best dining and the best kid friendly food?
By thw way we will be at mk that day. I think all choices would be ok due to monorail or in the park.

CRT is not a princess dinner. Cindy is downstairs for photos, but the only other characters are the fairy godmother and suzy and perla who perform sporadic 'shows' during dining and aren't out full time. suzy and perla will circulate for photos, but that's all.

I would do Akershus. We did it last July for dinner, and though my food was overcooked (I had salmon), DH and the kids liked theirs a lot. The kids meals are kid friendly, and the adult meals are not that weird at all. The cold buffet is really an elaborate salad bar with some unusual choices balanced out with really basic stuff like typical green salad makings, potato salad, fresh fruit, and several types of bread. Certainly anyone can find something there that's good. Desserts are served family style and are very, very good. Because my entree wasn't that good just due to being overcooked (I really should have sent it back), I filled up on dessert...and we got seconds without a problem.

The princess interaction there was excellent. On our visit, we saw Jasmine, Aurora, Belle, Alice, and Ariel (the greeter). All of them spent tons of time with us. Aurora gave DD a kiss on the cheek, and my boys still talk about Jasmine teasing them.

1900 Park Faire will only get you Cinderella. If you want a dinner with the most princesses for your buck, you should do Akershus.

On our last trip we did the Princess Storybook breakfast. The food was good and the character (Belle greeting; Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, & Mary Poppins) interaction was great. We also did Cindy's lunch. Realy nice food and good character (Cindy downstairs; Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White, & Fairy Godmother upstairs). Food was better ot Cindy's, but charters were better ot PSB. You can find all the characters in the parks. Cindy's was in the castle; but it was more money. I would do the PSB (or lunch/dinner).

We've done the Arkeshus lunch two times now and loved it. The character interaction is wonderful. You get a lot of princesses and they love to chat with the kids. Ariel was asking my dd if she used her doodlhopper (fork) to brush her hair that morning. They really don't seem rushed like other meals. I found the food was good especially the beet salad at the buffet.

(gasp!) dinglehopper!

sorry, i just love that about ariel. i always try to get her to use it.

We had a great experience at Akershus, also. Saw Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, Aurora. As for the food, maybe not necessarily kid friendly. Check out the MENU HERE. There are hams and cheeses, I believe and fruit on the cold board (Fra Koldtbordt).... at least there were when we had lunch there.

But, if you're not necessarily tied to princesses, Crystal Palace at MK would be a good choice. It's a buffet with mac & cheese, chicken, and other kid friendly foods on the kid's buffet, but it also has some kid friendly stuff on the adult buffet. A good variety of things and some really good desserts. We saw Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eyeore. MENU HERE.

Pixie dust to you!

We had lunch at CRT and absolutely loved it. Great food and tons of face time with the princesses!!! The atmosphere, though, to die for!!!princess: princess: princess: princess:

I don't think it will matter at all that the Cinderella dinner will be held in the GFC. In fact, I think that the Cafe is far more attractive! The food for this, assuming it will be the same, is wonderful. IMHO, it's far better than the other princess meals!!!

actually CRT does have more than one princess during the day (breakfast and lunch), i'm not sure about dinner (i think that's when it switches over to just cinderella). but 1900 is my favorite dinner with cinderella, GF has wonderful food and i'm sure that they will keep trying to have the food up to the same wonderful standard. if you want more than one princess, your best bet is for Norway.

yes, that's why i was noting it was dinner and that it wasn't princesses, particularly since OP was asking specifically about dinner. what i said about dinner is absolutely correct. in fact, i had dinner there this past monday night.

Our family did not like the Akershus Dinner. :scared1: The princesses were terrific! princess: But the food was horrible. I would recommend Norway for Breakfast , which was pretty good.:cloud9:
