Just rearranged furniture, moved some to the cellar and have a blank wall space. DH said to get something good, not cheap.
(I have a Disney den off the living room so Im thinking of something non-Disney -- Oh no!)
What would you suggest? Some type of country pic, house pic, etc? Or should I make a DS wall? Thinking that would be better upstairs and not in the living room - although I do have pics of him in our living room.

i have a framed poster of picasso's guernica, a b+w picture of the golden gate bridge, and 4 framed albums (yes, as in vinyl): les mis, the original london cast, peter paul and mary, the beatles, and folk festival at newport.

I have a very Disney living room :)

On the wall behind the futon I have framed posters of the PoC and HM attraction posters and a collage of DCL menus. By the entertainment center I have two DCL posters framed......one of the Magic from 2000 and then the one of the Magic across from the Magic Kingdom..very cool :) Oh, and a framed print of the Magic at Castaway Cay that a good buddy of mine gave me for my b-day last year.

Let's see...

1 Velvet Tapestry of Dogs Playing Poker
1 Velvet Tapestry of Dogs Playing Pool
1 Lithograph of Dogs Playing Poker
1 Edward Gorey Gashleycrumb Tinies Poster
1 Simpsons cast poster with quotes
1 Simpsons poster with about 300 characters
1 Nightmare Before Christmas poster

I have a couple more spots on the wall I am looking to fill up. There are a couple more Simpsons posters I want to get and I have a friend painting me a painting that will fill up some of the space.

We just bought the house in Sept, and I'm still redecorating, so I don't have much hanging anywhere.
I'm still trying to decide what to put where

In my kitchen, we have some framed Saturday Evening Posts and a print of Marilyn, Elvis, Bogey, and James Dean in a movie theater. It's a conversation piece LOL

In my computer room is a few framed photographs and a portrait my husband did.
In the den is a print of a lighthouse
In my Dining room is a copy of 3 different Van Gogh paintings.
In the hall, is a picture a family friend painted of a house I love in Wellfleet.

I have other prints in my attic and some framed albums that I haven't decided what to do with. I think I'm going to hit some galleries in P'Town

A Thomas Kincaid painting and I LOVE it!!

Definitley NOT cheap ;)

Their is a local artist named Arnold McDowell in my area. He paints beautifully and always has a hidden angel in his paintings. I have two of his in my den and have a total of six of his paintings. Most are of the Smokies and Cades Cove. But he has done some right here where I live. I hope to get a Thomas Kincaid before too much longer too.

Since we live in the South, we have a southern theme.

Over the fireplace is a huge oil painting of magnolias, then on the wall is John's deer head:rolleyes:    sorry....pictures are of southern antebellum homes.

i have a safari theme in my living room, it is so beautiful if i say so myself. i love my living room

THE PIC in our living room was CENSORED:rolleyes:    . It's a copy of a classic done by a Master in the 19th century; the original currently hangs in the Getty Museum and is free for all to peruse:jester: :jester: :jester: :jester: ..........

In my living room I have two limited edition Barbara Hails framed prints. One is a gazebo/garden and the other is also an outdoor scene. I like them, but I'm getting kind of tired of them.

In my dining room I have 2 large Scanlan photographs. Both are European street scenes. I love them and don't think I will ever get tired of them. If you get a chance, check out their website. They have amazing framed photography.

I'm not surprised Eros. :)

My house has photos, a whole wall of them. Family and friends.
Pictures the girls have created are also on my walls.

My bedroom has a picture of a Hawaiian beach, with palm trees, white sand and the ocean. I need more pictures.

A Matisse print.

An Anne Geddes photo.

A large mirror.

Two framed pencil drawn cherubs, artist unknown.

I need Trading Spaces to come in here and give it a new look!

In my living room I have this print, framed:

artofdisney.jpg

..along with a big collection of framed pin sets, and a few curio shelves filled with Disney collectibles. There is Disney 'clutter' everywhere here :p (just ask Glo or Cookie  ;) )

our decor! No one ever guesses DS painted it!
