We're staying at HGVC and I stumbled across a brochure listing the benefits on their website. I poked around on the Renaissance' site and found the link above. Looks like the same benefits. Plus the link above list early entry days (which I was delighted to find).

•Early Entry to SeaWorld and Aquatica on select dates in 2013 (March 26 & 30, April 2 & 6, May 25, June 1, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, and 29, July 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, and 30, August 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, and 31, December 24 & 28)

•Early Entry to SeaWorld only on select dates in 2013 (May 27, June 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27, July 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 29, August 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, September 2)

Park hours for August 17th are currently listed as 9 am to 8 pm (you can find the hours for other dates here: http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/Park-Info/Park-Hours). I believe early entry allows you access one hour prior to general park opening, so you should be able to get in at 8 am.

This info is so helpful. I just started looking at SW hotels for our next trip. We want to go to DC, SW & Aquatica.

We just booked a Renaissance Sea World package for an October long weekend stay (three nights). // The package is a good rate for the hotel with the SeaWorld ticket included, a perk (we picked the free dining on the SeaWorld day, and quick queue.) // Can't wait, I've always thought it would be great to stay at this hotel. Usually I've had an annual pass for SeaWorld though and the hotel price by itself just was too high for my budget. With the perks included, though, it's not that much more than the other hotels in the area. We've stayed at two of the other partner hotels and they were really nice too. And for longer trips we almost always pick one of the great condos in the area. Fun to try a new place though and this time I'm going for something different, a little bit of a Wow factor. The pictures of the hotel lobby look amazing. Enjoy your stay and post a report. I know we're really looking forward to this mini trip.

The early entry perk was great. We were on the first shuttle of the morning from the Rennaissance, collected our quick queue vouchers from the kiosk, rode Antartica, Manta, and were still first in line for the dolphin feeding before the gates were even open.
