What park to do on what day??

Myself, DS(7) and DBF are going to Florida Sept. 23 (Friday,staying in Kissimmee be there by 11:00am) and leaving Sat Oct 1 at 2:00pm. We want to go to: Magic Kingdom, Epcot (2 days), MGM, IOA, and Universal Studios. Starting on Saturday Sept 24, which day should we go for which park? Any ideas would be helpful!

Where will you be staying?? If you are staying onsite are you going to take advantage of EMH? With the EMH schedule being up in the air it is so hard to make a plan of attack w/o the park hours and EMH schedule. Also, will you park hop while at disney?

I am staying in a condo in Kissimmee (about 15min from MK). I think the hours for the parks are pretty early, I also don't like to park hop. So guys..I'm counting on the DIS to help!!

For kids I think it is best to not do MK first. When you go to MK first, the rest seems less magical. When you go to AK or MGM first day, they seem really cool, and then MK seems really cool when you get there. Done the other way around, AK or MGM seem less cool than MK.

This assumes you want to avoid the park that has extra hours for resort guests in the morning or evening since you are off-site:

Sept. 24 (Sat) - Epcot (alternate - MGM)
Sept. 25 (Sun) - MK (alternate - Epcot)
Sept. 26 (Mon) - MGM
Sept. 27 (Tue) - rest day
Sept. 28 (Wed) - Epcot (alternate - MGM)
Sept. 29 (Thu) - IoA
Sept. 30 (Fri) - US

You may want to consider re-arranging to verify the one day you are at MK you get to see Spectromagic and Wishes and the one day you are at MGM they have Fantasmic! going.

We normally do the parks in order of opening and then the last two days we hop around and do things that we missed. However this year we are doing MGM and Epcot out of order because my sister PS Prime Time lunch on the Epcot day. Soo were trying something new!!

But no matter what you have to start with the Magic Kingdom

We always try to start w/ the MK too. I for one can't wait to get there. It just sets the whole mood for the trip. There's something so magical about MK.

The other thing to remember is Disney hasn't created a permanent schedule for EMH. There's some patterns developing, but that haven't announced a final, set schedule yet.
