I am going in December to Universal, I will be staying on-site.
I would have the head of the line pass, it will be me and the wife and
our two 7yo children. I have about a day and a half I will be at the parks,
what park would the kids enjoy more, or should I say what park will take more time to tour. I am not someone that has to see everything on this
visit.

Thank you

Both parks have great kids areas...IOA probably a bit more but you should make sure you do both parks. And since you're staying onsite, you won't have to worry about the lines. Just take your time and enjoy everything Universal and IOA have to offer.

We planned on doing a day at both on our last trip. (Before Harry Potter was open however). We did a full day at IOA. The next day we did US but finished early so headed back over to IOA. My oldest child was 6.5 years old.
