This will be our first time (during spring break no less) to visit Universal. Normally when we visit DisneyWorld we have a game plan of attack- ya know, what attractions to visit and what general order. Do you do this for Universal? What is your order?

Well first are you staying onsite or not?

FOr spring break, that may be a good idea. If you are I'm not sure if you truly need a "plan of attack"

Now, I've never stayed onsite, but here's my plan:

USF:

MIB, go through the real line. and if the wait is 5 minutes or less do more real line.. then after about 3 times, do single riders maybe 4 times or so. (See we have smaller kids, so we try to space the single riders so that an adult gets off when they do)

Then Back to the Future.

Then we have to decide basically left or right. Left would take us to ET, and the Woody Woodpecker area, and eventually up Hollywood Blvd, to do T2.

If we choose right, we check showtimes for the Wild West show, and continue on to do Jaws, Twister, Hitchcock. Then on to Hanna Barbera, and then a Nickelodeon show.

IOA:

We did TWO ways.

One way was to start at MSHI, and do Spiderman, and then get express for another time. Hit Jurassic Park area to do Pterdeon Flyers (thanks Barry for that tip!), and the Jurassic Park River ride.

Then we did Toon Lagoon I think.

And another time we started we did SuessLand first, and go One Fish first, and had no wait. We got on the first ride of Cat in the Hat as well.

Then we hit the first Posiedon show. Then we did DD, and Flying Unicorn.

We then did Single Riders Spiderman., and Dr. Doom.

It depends. Do you like to ride the roller coasters and water rides??? It seems everyone heads to MSHI first for Spiderman and Hulk. I go right back to the Lost Continent to fie Dueling Dragons so I can ride in the first row several times with no wait.
Staying on site makes a big difference. You can pretty much do whatever you want with the express access.

We will be staying on-site and will be with an almost 9 year old (fearless) and a not-so-fearless 6 year old. Again, we've never been and have no idea what to expect.

Staying on site will be a big help. I've been to Disney World during spring break, and if that's any indication, things will be VERY crowded. By staying on site, you'll have automatic express access to the rides.
