My 180 day is in a few days and I'm not sure what strategy I should use to try to make sure I get the reservations that we want. I am booking most reservations for a large amount of people (sometimes 12-13, sometimes even 18). I know I should go for the most competitive/desired reservations first but after I do those, should I do the signature 2 point meals or the 1 point meals first? We care more about getting the signature meals, but I am thinking 1 point meals would fill up faster because more people might go to them?

Also, should I book for the later days of the trip first and then work my way forwards?

Can 2 people be logged into the same account and different devices working on making reservations at the same time?

Thanks in advance!!! :)

We booked the harder to get adrs first, regardless of where they fell in the trip.

We had 3 laptops going at the same time, were done with our 7 reservations in about 5 min. It was very anti-climatic, after all the weeks of planning!

We did get everywhere we wanted to go at the exact times we wanted!pixiedust:

Awesome! Thats great! Thanks :) Do you know if you have to enter all of the people who will be dining when it asks when making the reservation or can you just leave that blank? Just trying to familiarize myself with the whole process :)

To make it faster, you don't need to add the names in your initial booking. You can go back into MDE later and add them at your convenience.

I would book the toughest locations first (BOG, CRT, etc.) then move to the toughest times (rope drop or when you know you have a stricter time window), then move to those you WANT the most. Make sure you have a handful of backup options. And lastly, with large parties, if there is anything you don't get online at 6 a.m., you can call in at 7 a.m. and work with a human. They always seem to be able to work a little Disney magic and know the best ways to book large parties - like split into two smaller parties and such.

I ended up having to make mine via phone. I started booking from the last dates forward. I filled in the first few days with the easier to get reservations. I went for CRT first and got the day and time I wanted, on day 5 of our 8 day trip, then got BOG on day 6. Be sure to note any party days when you make your reservations if you're not planning on doing the party.

We already had all the names in our MDE and we put in our Credit card number, so we wouldn't have to do that each time.

Great! Thanks! Do any of you know if signatures generally fill up faster or slower than non-signature restaurants?

If you are wanting a Cali Grill in order to watch the fireworks, definitely get that one first (behind BOG and CRT). Also, same with Narcoosee's and fireworks times if you want these on a specific date. It just depends on the restaurant. I was hard pressed to find a Narcoosee's at a desirable time on my desired date (3rd reservation I made). But I could find multiple times for Artist Point the time I wanted all week/day I wanted all times. So if it's Le Cellier or Cali Grill or Narcoosee's, then yes. If you are more flexible and its the others, then you can book other ones first and be fine!

Thanks for the good info :)
