What order should I book FP+ in?

Staying onsite, 2 days at each park except 1 day at DHS. So do I book something like this?

2nd AK day - FOP
1st AK day - FOP (or NRJ if can't get FOP)
FEA
7DMT

After that, does it matter what I book next? I keep reading that Safari and Everest are booking up so maybe I go back and do those after 7DMT?

Sounds like a good strategy.

I am still learning but it sounds best to book your later park days first since more stuff will be available.

#1 on my list is FOP, which is our 5th day. I don't think I will get it but maybe I will get lucky. Then I will try booking our must-dos in MK and Epcot since we have days in those parks at the very end of our trips on days 8 and 9.

My biggest concern is FOP. I may even look into moving AK back in our plans if I can manage my dining reservations around that move.

I'm also thinking of trying for FOP on Day 65 first, since that day is questionable, and then booking Day 68 FOP second, since I am pretty sure I will get that one. I'd hate to miss out on day 65 while I was booking day 68.

That could work but my personal preference would be to get the FOP on day 68 and know I have at least one. Yeah, you could gamble with getting 2 but what if Day 68 is gone after trying Day 65? I doubt it though, it doesn't take that long to see if it is there.

I got my FOP today--it was day 64 for me. I would have preferred day 62, but built in a backup and was successful. When I first tried, nothing was available. I tried changing quantity and still nothing. System was so slow. I finally decided to go for Navi and boom, FOP was there for my party of 5 with 2 times to choose from. Everything else is easy and abundant.

I booked in this order 7DMT/Space Mountain/BTMRR day 66, FOP day 65, FEA day 64, Peter Pan/7DMT/Jungle Cruise day 63, Test track day 61. After filling in the blanks for those days I went and did our DHS on day 62 last.

I just peeked at FP+ 30 days out and Safari and Everest have plenty of availability, as does everything at DHS. So good idea Neverlandsky to do DHS last. I'm going to do that too.

Is this for a holiday week? If so, take that into consideration too. I just booked for Thanksgiving week and prioritized: FOP (66...got it), 7DMT (61 evening...got it), FOP (62...didn't get it), all 3 FP for Thanksgiving Day morning at MK, then all else (not interested in FEA or that would've been before the 2nd FOP.)

Yes, unfortunately. Dec 15-22. Not as bad as the following week but still.
