What order makes sense for getting CA FP now that RSR is connected??

Here's a "rookie" type question. If I want to get a FP for RSR on a non-EE morning, how early do they let you in the main gate to line up for the FP? And then how early would I have to line up at the main gate so that I'm not waiting for 15 minutes in line for a FP?

Ohhhh....great question! I would love to know too!! :thumbsup2

I go to DLR at least once a week, and I would grab a Soarin' FP on my way to TSMM. Ride that and Screamin', which generally has a less than 10 minute wait that early. Your Soarin' FP should be return between 40 min after RD and 1hr40min after RD. At RD+40 min, get RSR FP, you won't wait at all and should get an early afternoon return. Ride other Paradise Pier rides until near end of Soarin' return time, ride Soarin' and other non-FP rides until can get new FP (get as soon as window opens), which should be about RD+2hr 40 min, if you got it as soon as FP window opened up. At this point either get ToT FP or GRR FP depending on when park opened, and how hot it is.

So in summary, assuming RD is 8 am. Arrive by at least 7:45 and line up by Soarin', grab FP and take GRR trail to TSMM. Ride TSMM and Screamin'. May have time for Fun Wheel. Send runner to get RSR FP at 8:40 (will be able to get another 2 hours later) for an early afternoon return, join group at Paradise Pier, ride swings, Goofy, Maters...until 9:30. Arrive at Soarin' around 9:30 to ride with FP. Ride other non-FP rides, Monsters, Ariel... until 10:40 when you'll be able to get another FP. Get ToT FP, which should have a return around 11:30 or 12, get GRR FP as soon as window opens, ride other non-FP rides until near end of ToT FP window, ride ToT, do other Hollywood attractions and ride RSR and GRR in the afternoon with FP. That's what I would do, but I would also encourage you if at all possible to go to DCA on a non EE day unless you can utilize it.

This is your best plan...grab soaring FP, head straight to TSMM and get that out of the way and hit screamin on the way back for RSR FP. PP tends to be mostly overlooked the first hour or so with CarsLand getting most of the attention

There is no " line up" for FP on RSR before RD anymore. If you are in the park before official opening on a non EE day then head to Carthay Circle Restaurant where they have the rope holding people back. Make sure you are standing on the left side of the street by Carthay. Once the rope drops everyone shuffles forward. Being on the left gets you right in line for a FP. If you want to go straight to carsland then stay on the right of the street. I am always at main gate 30 min before opening.

If we go to CA on an EE morning, can we get FP for RSR during EE? Last summer they didn't open up the RSR FP machine until regular park opening. Just wondering if that has changed or not since we were last there.

Thanks!

If park opens at 8am
Get to park 15 minutes before opening
Grab a FP for Soarin, Head to Paradise Pier, TSMM, Screamin, Funwheel, Swings, Goofy, Mermaid, Grab FP for RSR, If you have time ride Grizzly and grab FP for the WOC if you plan on watching it, or use FP and ride Soarin, then Grizzly and grab a FP for the WOC, Then Bugs Land, then Lunch at 1130ish, after lunch grab FP for Tower, visit Hollywood Land see Aladdin at 1240.
Finish up Hollywood Land, then Cars Land with RSR FP.

After that your done, until WOC. Just be in the WOC area 30-15 minutes before the time posted on the WOC FP. Get a spot near a rail and your set.
