Unless you want a deluxe, which we don't. We were able to book a room at CSR for that night -I think I snagged it just after somebody cancelled it-- but it isn't really where we want to stay (we love to eat at the Pepper Market but DD associates that resort with homework, since that is where she does her homework on our trips every year )

And in all the years we've been going to WDW, the Sunday before President's Week has never been an issue. Even the CMs at reservations have been surprised that there really isn't anything available at the values or mods.

I played around with ressies today. The weekends 3-5 and 10-12 were booked, the week, however, was open. May have something to do with just being the weekend? Also Dance/Cheer stuff that weekend too. I freaked out too when I saw they were full, but felt better when I checked the weekdays and they were okay.

Wow! 3-5 too? I hadn't looked at that. I've seen plenty on the 11th and on the 13th...it's the 12th I'm having trouble with, which is a Sunday

We are booked in to Music starting on the 13th, but we'd rather spend the 12th there too, or at least 12-14 at another place (not the homework resort )

How do you feel about the Dolphin? I know people either "love it" or "no thanks" but Travelocity and their website both show that date available @ $199 (40% off $332 regular rate).

It is also during the free dining promotion so that probably plays a role in the lack of availability. We are staying at CSR from Feb 11-18.

We are there the 9-13. Touring Plans has the days 2-5 with on day a 6. I don't believe free dining covers this period. I made changes to my ADR just last week and had not problems. I even booked the Wishes Dessert Party. So I hope the parks are not crowded.

It is the UCA High School Cheerleading National Championships that weekend. Most of the teams are staying at ASSP, ASMU and CBR.

I really hope we don't encounter large wander groups of unsupervised cheerleaders.

I would definitely choose the Dolphin over a mod.
