"What Not To Wear" - Show is on again May 29

So I just got an email from the show's associate producer:

Hey Girl! Your show is premiering this Friday. I finally got TLC to tell me the final date! Enjoy!

I checked their website and they currently don't have the 9pm show for Friday listed, so maybe it is me! Well, i'll be tuning in anyway! sorry for the late notice - it's better than nothing I suppose!

If you don't mind, what is your first name so we'll know. Can't wait to see you!

My name is Kelly. I think Courtney is on at 8p and I am on at 9p. Although people with TiVO are saying that 'A Look Back with Stacy & Clinton' is airing at 9p. The website doesn't have anything listed yet for 9p. I'm so confused!

Friday night. I'll be tuning in! You are one brave, brave, girl! That 360 mirror. No way. I have a hard enough time seeing if something is flattering with one mirror. How do you part with something you really love that the duo doesn't? Oh that would be so, so, hard. And the critiques! Oh my gosh. I'd probably hold my ears and run away shrieking!

The 360 mirror was the hardest part for me - not because of having to look at myself, but because of some of the things Stacy & Clinton said. Ouch!!

I would like to know more about the dress you got as a present that is stashed under a bed with the tags still on it. I saw a mention of it on another thread. What does it look like?

Oh no! The Christmas dress! This was a gift from my mother last year - yes, it's still stashed under my bed with the tags on it. I did not bring it on What not to Wear because I did not want anyone to think it was part of my actual wardrobe. I'm saving it for the next time I get invited to an 'ugly christmas sweater party' or something here it is, just for laughs:

What young lady doesn't want a dress made from sweatshirt material with shoulder pads and puffy paint snowmen?

That dress reminds me of the shoes my dad got for my mom one year - black velour flats covered in black glitter, with glittery rhinestone pictures of presents on them. The right shoe said "Merry" and the left shoe said "Xmas!" in red sparkly letters. They were truly horrendous and we all had a good laugh about how downright ugly they were. Then I opened MY gift from Dad. Yep... an identical pair of matching shoes. Oh and I wasn't a kid, I was about 27. Surprisingly, both pairs of shoes sold very quickly at a garage sale!

Philadisney, you must be incredibly patient! That would be driving me crazy not knowing when it was going to be airing!! I'm a bit of a chatterbox though and I'd be dying to tell everyone all about it. I can't wait to see it and then find out all the "behind the scenes" stuff you have to share! I'm a bit of a chatterbox though and I'd be dying to tell everyone all about it. I can't wait to see it and then find out all the "behind the scenes" stuff you have to share! Please continue to keep us updated - false alarms and all. It keeps us on our toes!

I think it helps that I work in this business - I have had my fair share of people calling and demanding to know when the tv show/commercial they appeared on is going to air. So I have a bit of sympathy for the AP, I am trying not to harass her *too* much!

I think she'll feel bad anyway - when they were throwing out all my clothes at the beginning, every other line out of my mouth was "But my mother bought me that!" (My mother used to buy all my clothes because I hated shopping so much! )

Oh, I SO wish your show was on this Friday. The PA State dinner is on Saturday night and the festivities start on Friday night. DH is going to the Friday night events. I'd be all by myself snuggled up with popcorn watching you get pummeled by S & C. Dang!

You should wear your Christmas dress every year to your parents' house as a joke and then change into something more presentable.

Do you get any input as to where you shop using the $5,000 wardrobe money? The places I've seen sound so pricey! Those stores want mad money for some of their things! I like to shop sales, outlets, and such. I mean I like nice things but I don't like to pay full price. It does seem like a daunting task shopping while keeping in the forefront all the tips from the duo. That's probably tiring enough without watching the price tag. Just thinking.

I did - they only show a few places on camera, which are usually the small, pricey boutiques or specialty shops (like DSW for shoes). But after a day of shopping around with the cameras I went off with a few members of the production crew and did some shopping on my own. they had specific places they wanted to take me but i could ask to go in anywhere we passed that struck my fancy. (i don't think anything really did - i truly had no clue what i was doing!)
