Not sure if you answered this already...did you get to bring anyone to NY with you or did you have to go alone?

I went alone - i don't think they usually have you bring someone. they want everyone close to you to be surprised by your makeover at the reveal. i did read on a message board somewhere that one woman didn't want to do it if her husband and young son couldn't come, so they let them come. i don't know if they paid for them though.

i'm starting to wonder if i ever even was on WNTW...maybe it was all some crazy dream!
My parents cancelled their party, which I do feel bad about. they were so excited but then they got pretty nervous about the idea of having 25 of their friends show up and then they turn on the TV to see a show about Carol from New Jersey or something. at this point my main concern is just getting to see it at all. I'm guessing that it will probably go back to the January 4th date I was originally told

no, i emailed the show's AP (who is usually very good at getting back to me) last Thursday, and no reply. i'm starting to wonder if i ever even was on WNTW...maybe it was all some crazy dream!

Okay, I watch the show a lot Personally, I'd love to be on it, but nobody will nominate me...

Anywhoooo.... I can't go back through all these pages, but.... can you tell whether or not they really threw out all your clothes? I'm just dying to know if they actually get rid of them and you just never see them again? Can you say?

No word yet, but I'm guessing that it went back to the last date I was told - January 4th. I'm keeping a close eye on TLC's online schedule and will let you all know when my name pops up The suspense is killing me!

In the meantime if any of you see a WNTW commercial on TLC featuring a short brunette with Peter Pan syndrome wearing tattered, stained, decades-old clothing....let me know!

Glad I checked this -- I tried to set my DVR, but the episode descriptions didn't look right. Then, my DH set two other shows to record, and I panicked a little.
