Wow. I am so excited. I can't believe my first trip to Disney magic is only three weeks away. I want to do it all but know I won't be able to. So I need help knowing what are the for sure don't miss attractions. I have lots of time to explore. Will be there 9 days. As a single rider will I get seated with others or will I be given the option to sit alone. At times I may want to sit and visit but might want to sit alone and not sure if that will be an option. I know there are 4 parks and a couple of water parks. How much time should I plan on spending in each. To be honest I don't care for the swimming or slides much so might skip the water parks altogether. What are your views on everything. Share your experiences so I can make better decisions.

Well, congratulations on taking the WDW plunge! It's an amazing place to be.:D

You really do have alot of time to get around, which is good. I would suggest taking it slow and trying to savor the details, which Disney is famous for. If I were you, I'd get myself a good guidebook, then you can go through it and pick out what sounds fun to you. The "don't misses" are almost too numerous to list. (But I'm sure some DISer will anyway :D ).

Have a great time.:bounce:

Arrrrrr, ahoy carefreegal, me thinks ye makin a wise choice to be pullin into port at WDW. Arrrr, there be so much to see, and it's hard to be sayin what shouldn't be missed, none of it should be missed! Arrrr, but my suggestion for something not to be missed, is the good ole Pirates of the Carribean ride, ye be sayin arrrrr to me fellow Buccaneer's.

Arrrrr, if ye be feelin like visiting the far East, stop by Japan in Epcot and give a friendly 'Konichiwa' to the Japanese drummers.

Have fun!

Don't miss Cirque du Soleil at DTD. It's a fantastic show. I have yet to hear about anyone who didn't like it. It's a little pricey, but worth the money.

If you do the 7:00 show you'll have plenty of time ti hit Pleasure Island, which is right next to Cirque. Seven clubs for one price (included in an UPH, one "plus" admission on a Park Hoppe Plus Ticket. Definitely check out the Adventurer's Club and the Comedy Warehouse.

Epcot has many great restaurants. Make a PS at several of them, since you have 7-8 nights of dining pleasure. Try something different like the restaurant at Norway or Morrocco. A great chance to try things you can't find elsewhere. However, all the restaurants at Epcot are good. The deluxe and moderate resorts also have sit down restaurants with great food. Get a guide book or check out www.wdwig.com for info on all the dinig options (I love to eat out!!).

Like Grinningghost suggested, get a godd guide book and see what appeals to you. I don't mean to sound snooty, but there is so much to see and do it's hard to answer a question like this. We can certainly give you our opinions on specific attractions, shows, restaurants, event, so feel free to ask lots of questions.

Good luck planning.

As XStAnt said, most of us Disney fans could chat for hours about various favs, so I'll just list a few of mine:

1) All time, nostalgic favs - Pirates, Carousel of Progress, Haunted Mansion, Spaceship Earth, American Adventure show

2) Thrill favs - RocknRoller Coaster, Space Mountain, Tower of Terror, Test Track, (probably Mission:SPACE too, but I won't know till Oct!)

3) Extra favs - Night time visit to MK (including SpectroMagic and fireworks), Illuminations at Epcot, Epcot dancing fountains, monorail ride, Dapper Dans, One Man's Dream, Beauty and the Beast (w/pre-show!)

(These are my favs, the list would be rather different for my DD5!)
