What *not* to do at the Anna & Elsa M&G

Ugh this has me seriously considering if we should even deal with the hassle. But SS is obsessed with frozen. I just don't know about dealing with all of that.

That is horrible....We go in september and I will do what I have to for my Daughter to see them, as she has been looking forward to it. I think we may plan to try on a non EE day as we are staying onsite I can always be at the gate early and in line early and my kids could get up and ready to head into the park while I am waiting.....I guess we will see.

That is ridiculous! People blow my mind. The guy that physically assaulted a CM should have been arrested. There should be zero tolerance for violence at the happiest place on earth! I'm so glad my daughters aren't really into meet & greets. Lunch at Ariel's Grotto has always been plenty for them.

Our experience last Thursday on a MM day was actually very civilized compared to what your are describing. Please note that on that MM, there were no pre-line.

We got at the gate at 7:20 for a 8 am opening. We were probably the 6th family in our row. Then they opened the gates at 7:40. My 2 daughters walking (on the left side of the hub) quickly - but not running - and we were right on the rope at the end of main street.

At that point, we made a plan for me to walk quickly to the Anna and Elsa meet and greet and my daughters would follow. When the rope dropped at 8 am, I again went to the left and through the castle very quickly. My 2 daughters were following behind, but the plan was to meet up in line. (Before you get scared, my daughters are 16 and 7). Well, there was a few of us walking very quickly as the cms were telling or stopping those that were running. Along the way, many cms with Anna and Elsa cards were pointing the way, but really, monitoring the situation.

I actually got there third in line ... But got scared and let a few people pass by because my daughters hadn't arrived yet. We ended up 6th in line and had met both princesses by 8:15.

Everyone on that day was very behaved, and everyone was closely watched by a bunch of cms.

But no pre-line (we saw the pre-line on another day and we were surprised to see that there were none on MM day).

wow. I want to meet them. I will be trying for a non ee/mm morning and the earlier one I can. My early days will be weekends might have a 10 am opening Thursday or Monday (might have to switch my Monday day to Thursday) . Any advice is the early time even though its a weekend still gonna be good?

Any idea where you can tell if they will have both girls?

That's the thing. On most days I think it's all very normal and civilized. I'd like to think the crazy behavior is the exception, not the norm.

The CMs keep it well marked and organized. You really have to be pretty clueless to miss the lines and the instructions on what to do.

It's the minority of folks who are trying to scam the system that make the most noise and cause the ruckus because they know Disney will do everything they can to to calm the situation down. They count on their good graces. I wasn't happy to see those poor folks get yelled at. They were so respectful and professional.

If I were the responding supervisor I would have kicked them out of the line completely. All that yelling doesn't phase me.

Wow glad I don't have to deal with this! :scared: I've witnessed arguments between guests and CMs before with regular characters, but nothing like that!

Sorry but that's insane! I don't care what princess they are or how popular it is never ok to cut the line and it's a tiny bit insane queuing for two hours to meet these people. In a year something else will come out and they'll be like Rapunzal... who?! :confused3
