What did I miss?? Please don't tell me they took away CoP.

but I did notice that it wasn't as refreshing as it seemed to be 2 years ago. I was wondering if they aren't keeping the places as cool as they had been.

Anyone know? :confused3

And as for the iron..... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I don't iron at home :guilty: I certainly am not starting on vacation. (And it shows. LOL)

no no, don't worry, CoP is still there seasonally...it just always seems to be closed when I'm around so I haven't been on it in years! I'm guilty of the iron and the hairdryer too....curling irons, flatening irons, regular irons...I always find that I bring too many books too, by the time I have a chance to read, I'm too tired to focus on the words! I wouldn't be able to read in line, I enjoy staring at others and eavesdropping on them too much! *Ha!*
I also get annoyed with my sunglasses! One, I can never decide which pair to wear! Two, I always just wind up taking them on and off and then they get stuck in my hair or I poke myself in the eye...I try to be stylish but I ruin it with my clumsiness!

Go to Bodyglide website. They have a store locator link on their website.

It worked for us in AZ.

I thought that I was an overpacker but then I started reading threads about people who take their own refrigerators. :lmao: So long as the airline doesn't charge me extra, I'm not going to sweat it. I'm not packing jackets and sweatshirts for June though. I may take one pair of pants for DS but I know if my DH will only wear shorts. I'm also limiting the amount of shoes we take. I'll try to pack light but it just won't work out and I accept that. :rotfl:

We overpack food and drinks. What a waste of space. We would always get our groceries at Goodings, which is so expensive. Last summer we went to the Supertarger and realized the prices were the same as at home. Leaving all the food at home will save a lot of space in the van this summer.

Where is the SuperTarget? I was just asking dh how much water we should bring, and he told me to wait until we get there (don't need any extra weight in the car with gas prices being so high!) I didn't feel like paying Goodings prices. I will leave alot home if I can get it reasonably near Disney.

I am horrible at giving directions, but I can get myself where I need to go by memory. This will probably be off by a few blocks, miles, or counties, but this is what I remember:

From HBV turn right where it dead ends into Goodings, etc. Go on that road for awhile. ;) ;) Turn left at the major intersection that leads into Kissimee. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 Go past lots of touristy type places (there aren't many of those, right?) and it will be on your left.

Now I am sure that someone who really knows will correct me. :lmao: :lmao:

We just got back. I packed pretty lightly - just shorts, a pair of capris, casual tops, and one pair jeans which I didn't wear. I took a lightweight jacket that I needed only one time - in the freezing cold air-conditioning of the bus on the one day that it rained a little and I was wet. I wore Columbia comfort sandals the whole time - they felt great, even better than tennis shoes. I took only the most basic cosmetic stuff, sunscreen instead of lotion - just slathered it on after my morning shower, and wore one pair of earrings the whole time - didn't even take more jewelry. If you're there for your child, as we were, there's just no need to take nice clothes, shoes, jewelry, etc. In my backpack in the park, I carried more sunscreen and anti-bacterial handwipes - a necessity especially if you have a three-year-old who picks up trash and rubs her fingers on the bottoms of her shoes after being in the bathroom. Ew. I also had water bottles, some snacks, and a change of clothes for DD in a zip bag. I was very glad to have that since she got soaked to the bone at Ariel's Grotto. We carried our camcorder around and never used it. I also took a tote bag of toys on the trip and ended up not even unpacking it. The only thing I wished I had packed more of was about 2 more changes of clothes for DD. I ended up changing her two times a day, usually - once after getting wet in the park at the play fountains, and again after we went swimming in the afternoon. On the next day, I usually dressed her in what she had worn the night before, but we definitely needed more underwear. I had to wash some out in the room. For her, I should have planned at least two outfits per day plus 3 pairs underwear per day.

I don't know where SuperTarget is but if you are driving, just about any place you can imagine is within a reasonable driving distance to WDW. I needed a pharmacy (CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreens - didn't matter) a few years ago and had no problem finding one really close. Oh and souvies are really cheap at some of these places.

:lmao: Oh, so you went to the same "school of directions" as me!! I will print these directions and give them to dh. They will be an improvement from any directions that I ever give him!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I also overpack. We go in February every year and I always take too many shoes and jackets. This last time I only took 2 pairs of tennis shoes, a pair of crocs and a pair of slip ons. It was all I needed but the whole way to the magic I was worried I would need another pair of shoes. I still took too many coats. I only wore one of my coats the whole time we were there.

Don't forget cheap ponchos (Walmart) and mole skin. Also if you like to chew gum bring your own because they don't sell it anywhere.

A funny pack works better than a purse. But if you have children than use a backpack but not a purse.

I always tend to overpack socks and underwear! DH laughs at me but oh well! I like to take a waterproof sinch sack instead of a purse and a packable rain jacket just in case. I pack one or two pairs of shoes and tons of underwear for some reason :lmao: ! Last time i went in oct i packed a pair of corduroy (SP??) capris, what was i thinking!!?? this time im planing no socks! we are taking tevas and nice sandals for la nouva night... maybe i'll take some socks just to sleep in :rotfl2:

Hot Chocolate! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You would think after my 3rd Spring Break at Disney I would have enough sense to not pack hot chocolate mix for the kids breakfast! Also, instant oatmeal, no one wanted anything warm in the morning. They just ate all the little boxes of cereal.

When packing for Disney always remember more is not less, it is hundreds of pounds of unused stuff to pack around!
