What non-Disney park would you do?

I personally would do the swamp tour/alligator thing but then I don't like water parks. I do like the Beach as well.

Since your family likes water parks, I'd choose a water park or the Beach.

None of the above. Universal. Just because they have thrill rides doesn't mean that's all they have.

I'd look at the website and really think about it.

This! there's so much more to do at US/IOA than just thrill rides!

Some great input! I never considered US. I admit, I thought it was mostly just Harry Potter, which is something none of us have ever gotten into. I <3 the idea of Discovery Cove, but it is a tonne of money.

We like Universal. It has Seussland as well other rides for young children. Harry Potter is very well done, even for a non-HP fan. We ride the thrill rides, but the first time there avoided them and still had a good time. I find it more relaxing and less structured than Disney.

I agree with previous poster about Discovery Cove being another trip. When you book a day there you get 14 days of Sea World and Aquatica included in the price. You just probably want to buy the unlimited parking for about $25. We have done that for a vacation and had a lot of fun. For about $25 each ticket you can also add Busch Gardens but then you need to get a different parking pass.

For just one day I would do Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

Discovery Cove is a fun relaxing day. We did the dolphin swim back in August 06. It was fun but I think you have to be over a certain age to do it.

Food is included- breakfast (it was a continental breakfast on our visit but they have bacon and eggs now I think too), lunch, snacks and drinks.
