I have a basement apartment in my daughter's house. I usually go to bed earlier than she does, so if still awake I can hear when she walks overhead to her bedroom. Also a lot of water pipes run over my bedroom closet so if anyone uses the shower in the hall bathroom upstairs I can hear the water running thru the pipes.

Just nature outside. I don't have any pets and I live alone so all the noises I hear would generally be things outside.
