WHAT? No more red bus??

Seriously? Why am I just now hearing of this??

No really, dh and I were just looking at our album last night and saying how we were ready to see all the characters come out on the bus again b/c we really enjoyed that last year!

So now i read they do not have it anymore? Since when?? I am so sad!

So where are the characters?? Can somebody explain. Those were some of my best pics. I will sure miss it. Why is it no more??

Yep, Disney took away the Big Red Character bus! I think it ended back in November. They now have a room for meeting characters, called the Character Connection. It's located in Innoventions. If you are at the Big Fountain and head towards Soarin/The Land, the Character Connection is in that breezeway. Big signs mark it well. Classic characters like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale are usually there. Goofy and Donald are there sometimes, too. And other characters sporatically meet there, like Daisy, Max, Baloo, King Louie, Terk, and others.

I like the Character Connection, but I wished they used it WITH the Big red Holiday Bus, not instead of it!

So does that mean that now you wait in lines inside a building and take indoor pics with them? I am all for the a/c but man I love the way outdoor pics come out so much more and I love the nice backdrops outside. I was never as impressed with any indoor pics. AND, can you take strollers into the bldg?? (the whole can't take strollers in my bldgs drives me batty b.c I will miss out on a lot b/c I will have a newborn on this trip who will be sleeping in the carrier in the stroller so taking him out to see the characters will not work.

Instead, we had a whole mess of characters available for greeting in the World Showcase area. It was fantastic.

You are able to take strollers in the building. We saw several people do it the last time we were there.
